✨ Meet the Seasons team: Jo ✨

Having worked in a variety of roles over more than 10 years at Seasons, Jo has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, a caring nature and a deep dedication to the wellbeing of staff and residents. After serving as the Assistant Community Manager at Seasons Mango Hill for three years, she stepped into the role of Community Manager in 2025 and has continued to excel in her career.

Q: Why would you choose to call Seasons home?
A: I would choose to call Seasons home because of the strong sense of community it offers. Seasons is a place where people genuinely care for one another, friendships flourish and every day feels welcoming and connected.

Q: What is your favourite part of your job and why?
A: My favourite part of my job is building relationships with residents and helping create meaningful experiences. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing people connect, feel supported and truly enjoy being part of the community.

Q: What is your best tip for new residents?
A: Get involved early, say hello to your neighbours and join in activities that interest you, while still being open to trying something new. The more you participate, the quicker Seasons starts to feel like home.

Broadbeach bliss 🌊

Our Waterford West residents enjoyed a wonderful lunch outing to Kurrawa Surf Club in Broadbeach, taking in the beautiful coastal views, while sharing great food and company.

With the sun shining and the ocean as the backdrop, it was the perfect opportunity to relax, connect with friends and enjoy a lovely day out.

Outings like these are always a favourite for Seasons residents. 💜

Celebrating 5 years with Anna! 🎉

We are proud to announce a very special milestone as our wonderful Lifestyle Coordinator Anna, marks five years with Seasons.

Over the past five years, Anna has brought endless energy, creativity and compassion to our Mango Hill community. From organising memorable events and activities to creating meaningful connections with residents, she plays a vital role in making Seasons feel like home.

Congratulations Anna and thank you for your dedication, positivity and the genuine care you show every day. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Seasons team. 💜

Everybody, cut footloose 👢

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and tapping feet at our recent Footloose Fun Line Dancing class!

Led by the wonderful instructor Claire, residents embraced the music and learned some fantastic new moves. The class was a huge hit, with everyone joining in, giving it their all and having an amazing time together.

It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, energy and confidence on display and residents are already looking forward to Claire’s next visit! 💃

Expo Season is Here! 🎉

We’ve been busy behind the scenes packing giveaway bags and getting everything ready for our upcoming retirement expos!

One of our first shipments is already on its way as part of the Logan City Council's 2026 Seniors Connect Event. We are always excited to be collaborating with local businesses and community organisations to connect with seniors.

Hot wheels & coffee 🚘

There was plenty of excitement at Seasons Waterford West last week as we hosted a special event featuring an impressive collection of classic vehicles, owned by members of the South West Brisbane Motoring Club and one of our own residents, Myles.

Residents enjoyed spending time together admiring the cars and socialising with fellow community members, while enjoying soft serve ice-cream, coffee and a free sausage sizzle.

It was wonderful to see residents, visitors, and members of the local community come along to enjoy the day and take a look around our beautiful community.
A big thank you to Myles and everyone involved in making it such a fantastic day! 🍦

A brew-tiful day out ☕

Our Waterford West residents recently enjoyed a delightful outing to the Strawberry View Coffee Shack, where they soaked up the stunning scenery and relaxed with a coffee in hand.

With beautiful views and friendly conversation shared around the table, it was the perfect way to spend the day together.

Outings like these are a wonderful opportunity to connect, unwind and enjoy all that our South East Queensland region has to offer. 🍓

Curries, cakes & cocktails 🍹

The ladies enjoyed a wonderful day out yesterday at North Leagues Club in Kallangur, for their monthly lunch outing.

From flavoursome curries to chicken and cashew nut stir-fry dishes, there was something to satisfy every appetite!

A couple of the ladies treated themselves to refreshing cocktails, while dessert was a definite highlight, with salted caramel crepes and creme brulee served with Baileys ice cream proving hard to resist.

A fantastic afternoon filled with great food, good company, and plenty of smiles! 😊
