✨ Unseen Threads: A Little About Me ✨

I thought I’d pop in & introduce myself properly for all my new followers, curious clients & kindred souls.

Hi! I’m Anne Maree - a 30-something soul who’s orbited the sun enough times to know that life is weird, wonderful & full of cosmic plot twists. (No, I’m not telling you the exact number - just know I remember cassette tapes, tamagotchi pets & learning off an overhead projector 😏)

Here are some facts about me you might not know:

1. I’ve been practicing & studying tarot for over 20 years now - and yep, I’m still learning new methods & different aspects of the practice.

2. I own just 4 tarot decks & 6 oracle decks - each one chosen with soul & intuition.

3. I’m a proud mum to one wonderful human & one in heaven - my greatest teacher & light.

4. I actively volunteer my time weekly to the West Ipswich Conference of the Western Dioceses.

5. I grew up in Brisbane, with a slight childhood detour into Adelaide. I have strong family roots to New Zealand. My soul’s journey has always had a wild compass.

6. I adore a ridiculously rich decadent chocolate cake.

7. I love Australian wildflowers & their aromas.

8. I once studied a strand of Applied Science for two years - turns out that wasn’t my forever path. And that’s okay.

9. I am a fantastic dog snack dealer to my beloved Jack Russell Terrier - Basil.

10. I’ve managed four Brisbane formalwear stores as a trained suit tailor, helping people look & feel confident for life's big milestones. My work was even featured multiple times in the Courier Mail.

11. Yes - I have a bowl of crystals, crystal grids around my home & even got questioned by the termite inspector once. (Ask me for the full story. It’s a spiritual comedy.)

12. I’ve lived out in the bush for a period of my life - deep into Western QLD. Never made it all the way to Birdsville (got about 150km shy), but I did make it to Noccundra! And that, my friends, is a vibe all on its own.

13. I was once a public servant .. for how many years? Honestly, I’ve blocked it out, but the tea room was pretty memorable though. 😆

14. I have a serious obsession with retro genie bottles. They sparkle, they call to me & yes I did have 120 of them.

15. I’ve survived a few hiccups with my health. They came with big lessons, even bigger healing & the kind of soul rebirth you don’t forget.

And lastly - I love exploring how the mind meets the heart & spirit, believing our souls choose specific lifetimes for deep growth, healing & karmic closure. This life has certainly been one hell of a curriculum, but it is also a beautiful gift.

I believe in the magic of the little things, soul whispers & the unseen threads that tie us all together .. and I am truly honoured to walk this path, guide others & hold space within it.

The magic of tea leaves never ceases to amaze me. ☕️✨

During a reading for my beautiful client Julie recently, two symbols immediately stood out.

At the base of the cup, I saw what looked like King Triton, standing firmly with his trident. To me, this spoke of inner strength, wisdom & reclaiming personal power. The trident reminds us that we hold the ability to navigate life's emotional waters with courage, even when the tides have been unpredictable.

Floating above him, I saw a seahorse, gently rising.
Seahorses have always felt like symbols of resilience, patience & graceful transformation. They don't fight against the current - they move with it, trusting where it is taking them. Seeing it above King Triton felt like a beautiful confirmation that Julie is rising into a new chapter.

She is releasing what no longer belongs to her.
She is healing old wounds.
She is choosing herself.

Sometimes, the most profound transformations don't happen with a loud announcement. They happen quietly, one decision, one boundary & one act of self-love at a time.

Whether you read tea leaves or not, perhaps this message is for you too ..

You don't have to force your next chapter.
Trust the tide.
Honour your healing.

Your own inner strength already knows the way.

💗 The Heart I Was Meant to Find 💗

The Universe doesn't always speak through grand signs or life-changing moments.

Yesterday, while walking through an ordinary car park, I found a tiny sequinned love heart lying quietly on the grey concrete. Bright, colourful & impossible to miss.

It made me pause.

How often do we mistake silence for the absence of love, when perhaps love has simply changed the way it speaks?

That little heart reminded me that even when life feels heavy, love doesn't disappear.

It simply waits.
It quietly lingers.

The Universe leaves little reminders that beauty still exists, even in the most unexpected places.

Your light hasn't gone anywhere.
Your sparkle is still there.
Your heart is still full of love.

Not every quiet heart is closed. Some are simply carrying more than anyone else can see, yet still holding space for kindness, hope & what is meant to be.

Perhaps that's what this little heart came to remind me .. that nothing truly meant for you ever stops shining.

As the sky goes dark tonight, the cosmos inviting us into the tender protective waters of the New Moon in Cancer.

Instead, it’s about returning home to ourselves, honoring our deep emotional truths & building a foundation where we feel truly safe to grow. Trust the slow steps.
