Behind the scenes, I am quietly cultivating the next round of The Spirit of Bones – A Foundational Apprenticeship in Bone Reading.
Holding space for the Bone Reading Immersions over the past few years has been one of the deepest honours of my work. I am looking forward to opening the doors once again, but first something important is asking to happen and not just an update on the presentation of the offerings.
The bones are more than merely objects we cast across a table to make meaning from. They are our more-than-human kin, our ancestors and our allies. They invite us into respect, relationship and, ultimately, reverence.
That has always been at the heart of this apprenticeship.
Now those foundations are becoming more deeply rooted, asking more of me as their keeper and, in turn, more of those who feel called to walk this path.
This is an apprenticeship in allowing yourself to be reshaped through relationship with the unseen, so that your practice becomes one of service, to your community, to your ancestors and to the wider ecology of life itself.
