Another beautiful sharing from one of our amazing teachers 🤎

Here’s Yoga and Soulful Therapy with Amber ॐ 🤎 We recommend you listen to this one and get ready for some good inspiration 🌈

Thank you so much to everyone who is joining us for our August Sadhana. It’s so special to be on this journey together — showing up, practising, connecting and simply seeing what unfolds when we commit to ourselves.

Keep going, beautiful humans. One practice at a time. 🤎✨

We hope these words inspire you on your August Sadhana journey, and on your yoga journey ~ and whatever else you’re seeking to cultivate, create or achieve.

Because the beauty of these teachings is that they translate to any quest we take on. To any practice. To any path.
Including, simply, life.

Happy weekend, everyone.
You are SO loved. 🤍

This is our wonderful Emma sharing with us what her yoga practice has given her.

As you know, these little videos are our invitation to pause and ask ourselves the very same question:

What has yoga given me?

We’ve come to realise that there is never just one answer. Yoga seems to give each of us something different, and perhaps even more beautifully, it gives us something different at different moments in our lives.

It has a way of meeting us exactly where we are. As we grow and evolve, so does our practice. And somehow, the answer keeps evolving too.

We love that there isn’t a final answer to arrive at. Just a question that continues to unfold alongside us, changing as we change.

Awww yoga… thank you for all that you continue to give us. 🤍

There is a quiet intelligence woven through nature.

The tides. The seasons. The forests. The changing light.

Ancient traditions remind us that we are not separate from these rhythms… we are made of them. The same forces that move through the earth also move through us, shaping our bodies, our minds, our emotions and our spirit.

This August, our Sadhana is an invitation to remember that.

Together, we’ll journey through the elements, allowing each one to gently guide our practice, our reflections and the way we meet ourselves.

**Week 1 — I AM ~ Water**
Beginning in stillness. Listening. Returning to the depths.

**Week 2 — I BECOME ~ Wood**
Growth. Possibility. The quiet courage to keep unfolding.

**Week 3 — I BLOSSOM ~ Fire**
Opening the heart. Joy. Connection. Devotion to life.

**Week 4 — I NURTURE ~ Earth**
Grounding. Belonging. Remembering that we are held.

**Final Days — I SURRENDER TO TRANSFORMATION ~ Metal**
Letting go. Honouring change. Making space for what is ready to emerge.

If you’ve practised with us for a while, you’ll know how deeply we love the wisdom of the elements and the teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Not as something to believe, but as something to experience.

Throughout August, every class at Swell will be inspired by the element of the week. Whether you’re joining us for the full Sadhana or simply dropping into a class, you’ll be part of this shared journey.

May this month bring you back to yourself, one practice at a time.

To celebrate the beginning of our August sadhana together, join us for a coffee & croissant on Saturday 1st August as our studio turns into a pop up cafe!

Come along to Fran’s vinyasa and stay, or simply come along from 9.15am.

Coffees by Barista Blake and croissants by Egberts.

Free for all Swell students - past, present, and go on - future. The more the merrier!

And you don’t need to be joining the sadhana - life can be hard enough - sometimes coffee, croissants and community can make it a little sweeter.

Love,
Sarah

Today, Mon shares what a regular yoga practice has given her.

When we first asked our teachers this question, the idea was to gather everyone’s reflections into one reel. A collection of voices. A simple invitation to join our August Sadhana.

But as the videos came through, it became clear they each needed their own space.

There is something deeply beautiful about hearing how one practice can meet so many different people in so many different ways. As Mon shares, yoga is multidimensional. It is a relationship with ourselves, with others, with the world around us, with the universe. Through practice, we slowly discover how we relate to it all.

So yes, this is still an invitation to our August Sadhana.

But perhaps it is also an invitation to pause.

Practice doesn’t always give us answers. Sometimes it simply gives us a place to ask better questions, and to notice what unfolds when we keep showing up.

This is what Yoga Nidra feels like. And you can experience it too yaaay!

Join us throughout August for a weekly evening dedicated to meditation and Yoga Nidra.

Fridays | 5:00–6:00 PM

Each week, Sarah will guide you through a different meditation practice, including Vedic Meditation, Mindfulness, and Loving Kindness Meditation, before leading you into the deeply restorative practice of Yoga Nidra.

Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation that combines body awareness, breath, and visualisation, allowing you to enter the space between wakefulness and sleep. It is a place where the body rests deeply, the nervous system recalibrates, and the mind has an opportunity to soften, restore, and reset.

Wear your coziest, warmest clothes. Pyjamas are absolutely welcome. Bring your blankets, thick socks, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable and supported as you settle into deep rest.

Whether you’re looking to reduce stress, improve sleep, or simply carve out an hour each week to reconnect with yourself, this series offers a beautiful opportunity to pause and replenish.

Book your spot and experience the power of deep rest.
