Elegance Lymphatic Care is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated person to join our growing team at our Marian clinic.
We are flexible and open to finding the right arrangement for the right person:
β’ Part-time or full-time
β’ School hours available
β’ Negotiable hours
β’ Availability during school holidays when required
β’ A school-based traineeship for a suitable applicant
β’ A potential combined nursing, clinical and administration position
The role may include:
β’ Answering phones and managing client enquiries
β’ Booking and confirming appointments
β’ General administration and data entry
β’ Invoicing, payments and Xero tasks
β’ Supporting the daily running of the clinic
β’ Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment
β’ Learning about lymphatic health, compression garments and our clinic services
β’ Assisting with suitable clinic duties within the applicantβs training, qualifications and scope of practice
Our ideal applicant will:
β’ Have previous administration experience
β’ Have experience using Xero or be confident learning it
β’ Be organised and able to manage competing priorities
β’ Provide excellent customer service and client care
β’ Be compassionate, patient and genuinely interested in helping people feel better
β’ Be willing to go the extra mile to support our clients and help them achieve positive outcomes
β’ Treat every client with dignity, kindness and respect
β’ Be discreet and committed to maintaining client confidentiality
β’ Show initiative and have a genuine willingness to learn
β’ Be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
β’ Be interested in learning about the clinical side of our services
Experience in medical, nursing, allied health, dental or clinical administration would be highly regarded, but it is not essential for the right person.
π©Ί OPPORTUNITIES FOR REGISTERED NURSES
We would also love to hear from Registered Nurses interested in flexible community and clinic-based work.
The RN position could begin with as little as one regular day per week, making it suitable for a nurse wanting to earn additional income alongside their current nursing role.
We would consider employing multiple RNs who are each available for one or more days per week. Alternatively, there is potential for the position to grow into a full-time role once the Mackay services are established.
We have a room confirmed within a local Mackay GP clinic and are looking for nurses who would be enthusiastic about helping us establish and grow services from this location.
Depending on qualifications, experience, additional training and scope of practice, the nursing role may include:
β’ Community nursing services
β’ NDIS and aged care supports
β’ Continence assessments
β’ Aged care nursing assessments
β’ Wound assessment and wound care
β’ IV infusion services once all required training, clinical governance and approvals are in place
β’ Learning lymphatic therapy and lymphoedema management
β’ Training in compression garment assessment, measuring and fitting
β’ Working collaboratively with local GPs and other health professionals
A vascular surgeon will also be consulting from the GP clinic, creating opportunities to support patients requiring vascular, wound, lymphatic and compression-related care.
Above all, we are looking for nurses and Admin/clinic assistant who genuinely care about their patients whilst wanting expand and grow their clinical knowledge.
