We are getting ready for our very first school holiday program for young people. Usually I rest on school holidays but with our expanding team of helpers we now have more capacity to do fun programs like this Introduction to Horsemanship program for young people next Friday. We are half way to capacity and expect to book out so get in sooner rather than later if you’re thinking about booking your kids in.

We at Aligned Living are grieving. Today was the funeral for Charlotte Reid. Charlotte has been a long time supporter of Aligned Living for many years. Over the years she has filled many roles and I consider her like family. I was blessed to have regular contact with her and we grew close. We planned to work together and build Aligned Living together. You will be greatly missed Charlotte. I would like to thank the Reid family for allowing me to participate in the funeral services and for including us. Kadosh did us proud today, even helping someone to overcome her fear of horses. After today’s experience with how well it went, I am convinced that every funeral should have a horse present. He brought peace, smiles and laughter during a very difficult time. Thank you Kadosh. Here are some photos of our Charlotte during her time with us.

Grief warning: ⚠️ I am very sad to announce that Chaya has gone to pony heaven. She contracted colic this morning around 8:30 am. I took her to the vet where she was treated with the best possible care. Kaya stayed with her until the end. Eventually she was only deteriorating and the kindest thing was to relieve her suffering with euthanasia. I am sorry that you won’t get to say goodbye to her in person. I will plan a memorial service for those who are wanting to say goodbye.
