The Natural Funeral Company of Adelaide

The Natural Funeral Company of Adelaide Leave a smaller footprint with The Natural Funeral Company. Afforable, loving, celebrations of a life. It’s always your choice.

The Natural Funeral Company is all about family, helping to tell the story of a loved ones life. Most of the team are family members and we aim to make funerals more colourful, less officious and more environmentally friendly. We realise that death is a scary and taboo subject, but all the team at The Natural Funeral Company work hard to make funerals a better experience. At The Natural Funeral Co

mpany we can offer a simple service by separating the cremation from the funeral ceremony. All transfers and preparations are made and we return the ashes to the family, giving them the freedom to hold a funeral, memorial or celebration of life wherever, whenever and however they choose. Alternatively, a full chapel or church service of a more traditional nature can be held with a burial or cremation following. When a family first contacts The Natural Funeral Company, we will talk them through the process involved, visit them at the family home to make formal arrangements and for document signing and discuss their personal needs. We make sure that their wishes are honoured, such as using a simple coffin or placing a red rose on the coffin.

“Please let me live.”
I absorb the carbon you create. I cool your cities. I shelter wildlife. I hold the soil together and help bring rain to the earth. Every breath you take is connected to mine.
Yet every day, humans continue to cut down the very forests that sustain us.
Trees are not obstacles to development. They are the lungs of our planet.
The irony is that in our pursuit of progress, we destroy one of nature’s greatest solutions to climate change. A mature tree can absorb carbon dioxide, filter pollutants, reduce heat, and support entire ecosystems—silently working for us every single day.
Perhaps one of the greatest acts of wisdom is recognising that we are not separate from nature—we are part of it.
When we lose trees, we lose far more than wood. We lose life, resilience, and a little more of our future.
Protect trees. Plant trees. Fight for trees.
Because without them, there is no us. 🌳💚

One of the great joys of providing services at Partridge House is the flexibility. The service inside can be setup for intimate or larger gatherings (as shown in image). Or, weather permitting, under the giant elm tree in the garden. If the weather is bad, safely setup inside. All options include refreshments following the service.

David is dying of cancer, but he has already paid more than the cost of his funeral in insurance. Consumer advocates say he is far from alone and they want the 'rip-off' to stop.

With Wirra Wonga Stage 2 at Enfield Memorial Park now landscaped and ready, a new design of natural earth burial is now available.
There are now two options: the traditional burial with a tree/shrub planted on a grave, or be buried around a tree.
With burial around a tree, eight graves are available (2 per side) all at level one. This option is only $1000 more than the original Wirra Wonga grave price ($7,200) but finding a grave will be easier.
