✨Hypnobirthing Australia Birth Education✨

Birth education is about so much more than learning stages of labour.

Our group classes are designed to help you and your birth partner feel calm, informed, connected and empowered as you prepare to welcome your baby into the world.

Together we explore:
✨ How birth works physiologically
✨ Practical comfort tools and breathing techniques
✨ The role of the birth partner
✨ Navigating the maternity system with confidence
✨ Creating a calm and positive birth environment
✨ Tools to support both mind and body during labour

These classes are supportive, evidence-based and deeply nurturing — with space for questions, connection and real conversations. 🌿

Because when parents feel prepared and supported, birth can become an empowering experience, not just something to get through.

✨ Birth Affirmation ✨

Birth asks us to soften and surrender, while also calling on a strength many women have never experienced before.

Your body holds deep wisdom. Your baby knows the way. And within you is the ability to move through each wave, one breath at a time. 🤍

I am safe. I an strong

Come back to these words whenever fear or doubt arises.

Save this affirmation for your birth journey 🌿

I came into this work because I felt a deep, undeniable pull to share what I experienced in my own birth preparation.

I wanted every woman to feel that same sense of excitement…

That same calm confidence…

That deep trust in her body and the birth process.

Now, almost a decade on, that intention hasn’t faded — if anything, it’s grown stronger.

Each class, each couple, each birth story… it continues to light me up.

Because this isn’t just information.

It’s transformation.

And when you and your partner truly understand how birth works — physically, mentally, emotionally — everything shifts.

✨ Fear softens

✨ Confidence builds

✨ Connection deepens

If you’re ready to feel prepared, empowered, and supported…

I would love to guide you ❤️

✨Navigating Induction✨

Due dates ≠ deadlines.

It’s common to feel pressure to be induced as you approach or pass your due date. Hospitals are generally comfortable with pregnancies continuing to 40+10, and at 42 weeks the mother will likely feel very pressured to be induced.

But remember: a “due date” is an estimate — not an expiry date.

Important note - The average first time pregnancy lasts closer to 41+1 🧐

Ask questions. Understand the risks the hospital is trying to manage, and the risk of the intervention. Know your options.

By definition if you have an induction either your body and/or your baby aren’t ready. Women tend to experience induced births very differently to a spontaneous start.

If you choose or need an induction, that’s okay. But if you want to wait — that’s valid too. It’s all about informed decision making.

Knowledge of power 🙌🏻

I’ve been quietly expanding my work beyond birth.

While supporting women through pregnancy and motherhood will always be deeply meaningful to me, I’ve also been drawn to working with women more broadly — helping shift patterns, calm the nervous system and create meaningful change in their lives.

I’m so excited to share that Peaceful Minds Hypnotherapy is now open.

This space is for women through all seasons of life including preconception, motherhood, life transitions and personal growth.

If this feels relevant for you now, or perhaps sometime in the future, I’d love to welcome you there 💕

✨Does Hypnobirthing work - really?✨

Yes, it works. But not how you think.

Hypnobirthing doesn’t “work” like a magic trick.
It’s not about avoiding uncomfortable, intense sensations — it’s about meeting birth differently.

It’s clarifying so many of the unknowns so it doesn’t feel so unknown anymore.

It’s feeling like you’re on the same page as your birth partner, and they know how to be the best support person for you.

It’s feeling confident working with your care providers to get the best care for you and your baby.

It’s having tools to help you through the intensity of birth, physical and emotionally.

It’s feeling prepared, informed and actually excited to birth your baby.

And what does the evidence show?
✨ 52% less emergency caesareans
✨ 40% less morphine use
✨ 32% less epidurals
✨ 15% less inductions
✨ 22% more spontaneous births
✨ 95% more using water

These stats are from a study in WA in Bunbury hospital specifically on the Hypnobirthing Australia Positive Birth Program. Full study hypnobirthingaustralia.com.au/birth-outcomes/

It’s not about controlling the outcome.

It’s about feeling calm, supported, and powerful no matter how your birth unfolds.

So yes, absolutely Hypnobirthing works ❤️
