Acupuncture may be used as part of an individualised fertility support plan.

Every person’s situation is different, so treatment is informed by your health history, menstrual cycle, current concerns, fertility goals and any medical or assisted reproductive care you may be receiving.

For some, acupuncture becomes one part of a broader fertility care team. For others, it may simply provide a regular space to pause, rest and reconnect with themselves during what can be an intense and uncertain time.

Have you ever heard someone talk about “warming the womb”?

It’s a most well-known phrases in Traditional Chinese Medicine - but it’s also one of the most misunderstood.

In TCM, warming the womb doesn’t refer to physically increasing the temperature of the uterus. Instead, it’s a traditional way of describing a pattern that a practitioner may identify after considering your overall health, symptoms and history.

Importantly, not everyone has this pattern, and it’s only one of many frameworks used in TCM.

At Bloom, we take an individualised approach to care, combining traditional Chinese Medicine with an evidence-informed, collaborative approach to help us understand the whole person.
