🌴The centre today turned into a photography studio to document the incredible work of women from Hasu’s mothers area in the gulf of Papua New Guinea. Simon and Hasu returned a few weeks ago with 30 new kites. This is a remote village and Hasu has been heading up yearly to bring the kites-pronounced kee-tis back to sell for the women.
It is a ❤️ job.
Each kite that sells makes a huge difference to these women’s lives. We will be displaying them at the centre and Scratch Art Space up the road in September. Stay tuned- if you’d like to find out more head over to Kites -ki/pronounced kee and follow the journey .
Tenkyu tru - thank you to all of the community that has supported Hasu through this journey.
