We took 3 riders down to QSEC in Caboolture for the RDA State Championships. It was a very successful weekend with lots of fun and ribbons.

Sophie and Carrissa recently had fun competing at the show as Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society Inc. very kindly included a section for us. Both girls rode extremely well and returned home with ribbons. Sophie went one better and won the purple ribbon and a lovely prize as 'RDA Rider of the Show' Thanks to Pet Assisted Therapy for donating the prize. Thanks also to Riding For the Disabled Hervey Bay for coming over and helping to make it a fun morning. The absolute star of the show was the lovely Nugget who, as usual, was his kind, giving, unflappable self and deserved all the pats and carrots he was treated to.

Bobby wearing a hat he acquired on Saturday says "Thanks a lot" to all the people who supported us at our Garage Sale.
Whether you donated, bought something or are one of our dedicated volunteers who worked so hard to make it happen give yourself a pat on the back. You helped us raise $3,400 all of which will go towards feeding our horses and improving our equine based program. Bobby is looking forward to extra carrots.

Just in case you are wondering.... riding has been cancelled for tomorrow. The driveway into RDA is under water, we only have one dam now instead of one each side. Granville bridge will probably be closed, the Coach cannot get out of her property because of flooding and several volunteers are also flooded in.
See you all next week.
