Lauren 💫

Lauren also joined the OT Kidz team at the start of this year after completing her Masters in 2025. Lauren was first introduced to the OT Kidz team at the end of 2025 when she completed a TPP project for us as part of her final uni assessment. Lauren has a keen interest and enthusiasm for paediatrics which continues to show daily.

Pyjama Day ✨

Today we dressed up in our PJ’s to raise awareness for kids living in foster care. Thank you to all our clients who joined us in their PJ’s and asked us about the Pyjama Foundation 😊

This year we have decided to register in National Pyjama Day to raise awareness for kids living in foster care ✨

Every child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, and confident in their future, but for many children in foster care, that is far from reality. Frequent moves between homes and schools can disrupt their learning, relationships, and sense of stability. Without the right support, these challenges can have lasting effects on their education, wellbeing, and future opportunities.

That is why on Friday the 7th of August, we will be wearing our PJ’s to work and we welcome you and your children to join if that is something you would like to do 😊

Samara 💫

Samara joined the OT Kidz team at the start of this year after completing her Masters in 2025. Prior to this she was working as an Allied Health Assistant across the spinal cord injury and brain injury rehabilitation units. Samara is also a mum to three beautiful kiddos.

“I love that no two days in occupational therapy are ever the same. I became an OT because I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference while building genuine relationships with the people I support. My favourite part of paediatric OT is working collaboratively with children and their families to overcome challenges, celebrate success and achieve goals together.”
