๐ŸŒผ Tomorrow is International Day of People with Disability โ€“ December 3rd ๐ŸŒผ

At Azalea Home Support Services, weโ€™re proud to celebrate a day that shines a light on understanding, inclusion, and respect for people with disability.

๐ŸŒ What is IDPwD?
International Day of People with Disability is a global day that reminds us to listen, learn, and work together to create a community where everyone feels valued and supported.

๐Ÿ“… Itโ€™s held each year on 3 December.

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ In Australia, 5.5 million people live with disability.
But 1 in 10 still experience discrimination โ€” being treated differently because of who they are.

๐Ÿ’› At Azalea, we believe everyone deserves dignity, choice, and a life full of opportunity. This day is a reminder to challenge assumptions, celebrate strengths, and stand up for inclusion every day โ€” not just on December 3rd.

โœจ Letโ€™s continue to build a world where barriers are removed, voices are heard, and everyone is welcomed.
