Living Your Design is more than understanding your chart. It's about experiencing it.

In my one-on-one Living Your Design sessions, I often bring creativity into the process by working with the clay field.

Instead of only talking about a gate and its meaning, we create it. We shape it with our hands, explore its energy, and allow a deeper understanding to emerge through the body rather than the mind alone.

It's fascinating to witness what happens when someone moves beyond the mental concepts of Human Design and begins to feel a gate. New insights arise. Hidden aspects become visible. The energy becomes tangible.

Every creation is unique, just as every person's experience of their design is unique.

Human Design was never meant to remain an intellectual system. It is an experiment in living as yourself. And sometimes our hands know things before our minds do.

"Isn't Human Design basically a cult?"

A few years ago, my partner said exactly that.
The funny thing was, he knew almost nothing about Human Design at the time. Yet we ended up having some pretty heated arguments about it. The more passionate I became about what I was learning, the more suspicious he became.
And honestly? I can understand why.

Human Design has its own language. There are charts, types, authorities, gates, channels, and people who seem to speak an entirely different dialect. From the outside, it can look a little strange.
But here's what I discovered through my own experiment:
A cult tells you what to think.
Human Design asks you to think for yourself.
A cult asks you to give your power away.
Human Design teaches you to become your own authority.
A cult wants followers.

Human Design wants differentiation.
What kept me engaged wasn't belief, it was experience. The more I experimented with my Strategy and Authority, the more I noticed things shifting in my life, relationships, and decision-making.
That doesn't mean you should believe everything you're told. Quite the opposite.
Question it.
Challenge it.
Test it.
Keep what works.
Leave what doesn't.

For me, Human Design is a tool for self-discovery, not a religion and not something that should replace your own discernment.

Today, my partner has a very different perspective. Not because I convinced him, but because he has seen the changes.

☀️ Sun in Gate 23 — Splitting Apart - The Gate of Assimilation

The Sun moves into Gate 23, the gate of explaining, translating and making the inner knowing understandable for others.
This is deeply individual energy.
Not the kind that says:
“I think…”
or
“I believe…”
But the voice that suddenly says:
“I know.”
And often… this knowing arrives before there are words for it.
Gate 23 carries the pressure to translate something deeply individual and inner into language.
To give form to what first exists as an inner sound, insight or mutation.
And this is where the challenge lives too.
Because individuality is rarely immediately understood.
The Channel 43–23 is called the Channel of Structuring, a design “from genius to freak.”
Such a powerful reminder that what is truly new, mutative and different is often first rejected before it is recognized.
This gate reminds us:
you are not here to make yourself acceptable by becoming less different.
You are here to find the correct timing and the correct language for your knowing.
And also…
individuality is not moral.
It is not about right or wrong.
Good or bad.
It is simply different.
Gate 23 carries the possibility of bringing understanding to diversity.
Of allowing different ways of seeing, knowing and being to exist.
So maybe this transit invites us to soften the need to explain ourselves perfectly…
and instead trust that what is truly authentic will eventually find the ears that are ready to hear it.

💥Sun Transit in Gate 42 – Increase – The Gate of Growth

Right now, the Sun is activating Gate 42 — the energy of growth through completion.

This is collective energy.
Energy that isn’t here for “me”, but for all of us… to be lived, felt, and shared.
Gate 42 brings the power to finish what has begun.
To stay with an experience until it ripens… until it completes you.

And for me, this transit lands deeply.
I carry Gate 53 Development – The Gate of Beginnings
Together, they form the Channel of Maturation (53–42),
a powerful format energy that sets the tone for the entire life force.

This is the pulse of:
> Starting a cycle
> Living the experience
> Completing it fully

Not rushing.
Not skipping ahead.
But honouring the natural timing of growth.
Because true expansion doesn’t come from constant new beginnings…
It comes from allowing things to unfold to their natural completion.
Yes, the abstract process can feel like a wave - emotional, unpredictable, full of change.
But this is how we mature.
This is how life moves through us.
This transit invites us to reflect:

+ Can I trust the rhythm of beginning and ending?

Today, the Sun moves into Gate 21, the gate of control, responsibility, and service to the community. This is the gate that ensures humanity gets what it needs on the material plane – food, shelter, reward for effort, and balance in life.
Gate 21 is about the justified and necessary use of power. It is not about ego-driven control; it is about taking charge when it serves the greater good. Whether you’re a Generator, Manifestor, or Projector, the way you exercise control depends on your design; but one thing is clear: this gate must be recognised to be effective.

The Gate of Openness

Some encounters happen almost without words. A glance, a gesture, a shared moment… and suddenly the atmosphere changes. Connection becomes possible without pressure.

Gate 22 invites us to pay attention to the spaces between what is said. True attunement often happens there.
This gate carries a natural emotional wave. Some days feel calm and harmonious, others more intense or unsettled. That’s not something to fix, it’s simply human. When we allow our emotional rhythm instead of trying to control it, our presence becomes more authentic.

Grace is not about always being in a good mood.
It’s about staying connected to yourself, even when things move inside.

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day, a beautiful reminder of the quiet and powerful ways women create connection in the world - through presence, emotional intelligence, creativity, and genuine openness.

❤️To my beautiful Projector daughter ❤️

This is one of my favourite photos of you.
Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real.
Hands on the steering wheel, eyes half-resting… and yet, still in motion.
Classic Projector in a Generator world 😄
When you were born, I didn’t know about Human Design yet.
I was a Generator mum, living in a Generator society, raising a Projector baby…
so of course you learned early on how to keep up, how to hustle, how to juggle a million things at once.
Now you’re grown, surrounded by three Generators in your own family,
working as a psychologist, studying, caring, holding space for others…
and sometimes even resting while driving (only you 😅).

This photo says so much to me:
A Projector trying to find little moments of rest inside a fast world.
Still shining. Still going. Still giving.

If I had known back then what I know now,
I would have protected your rest more fiercely.
I would have reminded you that you don’t need to run to be worthy.
That your wisdom is enough.
That your presence is already medicine.

To all Projectors out there:
You’re not here to keep up with the Generators.
You’re here to guide, to see, to rest deeply,
and to move in your own rhythm.

And to my daughter:
May life keep offering you steering wheels to lean on,

🌑 2026: The Year of the Unexpected Beginning 🌑

When 2026 is born, the Sun ignites Gate 41, the pressure to begin, to dream, to hunger for something new. This is not a year of instant manifestation; it’s a year of desire becoming conscious. Before anything can be built, it must first be imagined… and emotionally digested.

💥 Yearly Type: Projector
This year doesn’t want hustle.
It wants wisdom, perspective, and correct invitations.
2026 says:
“Pause. Observe. Recognise what truly works — and what absolutely does not.”
Trying to force progress will only brew bitterness. The magic happens when the world sees what needs guidance, and invites it in.

No instant clarity.
No impulsive decisions.
This is a year of emotional waves, collective moods, and “let me sleep on it” energy.

A Human Design chart from 1893

After my last post about the calendar change, I want to share the story that opened this whole door.
My dear friend , a writer and family historian, approached me and asked:
“Can you create a Human Design chart
for my grandmother?
She was born in Russia.
In 1893.”
I felt deeply honoured.
Working with an ancestor’s chart feels different.
There is reverence in it, like entering a memory.
When I received her birth date, something didn’t add up.
Russia was still using the Julian calendar at that time.
Human Design uses astronomical planetary positions based on the Gregorian calendar.
So the date we had - the one she carried her whole life - was not the moment the planets were actually in those positions.
I had to convert her birth date.
When the date shifted, her entire chart changed.
She was a Manifestor.
I paused. It changed the way I looked at the chart.
A woman, born in Russia at the end of the 19th century…
with Manifestor energy.
A design made for initiating,
for freedom,
for carving her own path.
And yet… history tells us
that during that time and place,
women rarely had access to autonomy,
or to their own voice.
Her chart revealed a life force that perhaps could never fully be expressed.
Human Design is not just a chart.
It is:
• lineage,
• ancestry,
• unspoken stories,
• potential that lived inside someone,
• even if their time didn’t allow it.
Sometimes the chart shows us
not how they lived, but who they were capable of being.
And in that recognition,
something heals.
