With around 1 in 45 Australians living with a brain injury, and almost 3 in 4 of these people aged under 65, raising awareness is essential.

This year’s Brain Injury Awareness Week (17–23 August 2026) theme: “Many Pathways, One Community” reminds us that no two brain injuries are the same. Each person may experience different challenges, follow a different path to recovery, and need different kinds of support along the way.
