That’s a wrap on Let’s Talk SDA and SIL in Mount Barker! 🙌

Hosted by Claro and Vera Living, our event brought together industry professionals and community members at a brand-new SDA home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

The morning featured insightful presentations from our guest speakers, covering key topics across disability advocacy, Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).

Key insights shared on the day included:

✅ Advocacy for Disability Access (ADAI) discussed the value of advocacy and the importance of ensuring participant voices remain at the centre of every decision.

✅ Claro shared insights into how SIL providers support participants, including nurse-led transitions and hospital discharge.

✅ Vera Living highlighted the positive impact SDA can have on NDIS participants, supporting greater independence, choice and overall wellbeing.

Guests also had the opportunity to ask questions, connect with fellow attendees over a delicious morning tea, and take a tour of the beautiful new home.
