Most of us like to feel happy – but can we be happy all the time?

A lot of people may appear happy all the time on social media – but are they truly happy at all times, or is that just what they choose to portray online?

Happiness can often be a choice – a perspective – a reframe. A simplistic example is: Do we view things from a half glass full, or half empty perspective? Neither perspective is wrong, but which might make us happier as an individual?

Happiness would not be enjoyable for long by itself - it is made sweeter by the other emotions we experience – so don’t put pressure on yourself to always feel happy – it isn’t healthy or sustainable!

How Can Someone be Q***r and Christian? I've often heard questions about how people can call themselves a Christian (or Religious in general) if they are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Sometimes this question is asked from a place of judgement, other times it’s presented with genuine curiosity, elsewise it can even be a daunting personal internal conflict.

I have heard countless stories of people turning away from their religious communities and their faiths, feeling they have no choice due to being ostracised or judged in a toxic and unproductive manner.

However, from lived experience, and in assisting many clients through this internal conflict, I am glad to say there are ways to help reach harmony between these seemingly opposing parts of our identities.
