Warning: Adult Content. Some intimate procedures may involve more than one stage. (The potential risks of surgery can be read on www.revaesthetic.com.au/risks-of-surgery). The follow-up assessment is an important part of treatment planning. Tissue healing, anatomy and individual goals are reviewed to determine whether any further treatment is appropriate for selected patients. The follow-up appointment isn't simply about checking that everything is healed. It's also an opportunity to assess tissue characteristics and determine whether the treatment journey is complete. Dr. Nara explains the intricacies of follow-up assessment after intimate procedures such as selective anatomic preservation labiaplasty, h***noplasty, vaginoplasty and pe**le augmentation.

Dr Nara shares the clinical journey of a 70yo patient who had upper blepharoplasty 3 weeks following surgery. The potential risks of surgery can be read on www.revaesthetic.com.au/risks-of-surgery

Cosmetic surgery for blepharoplasty has significant preparation and planning particularly with regard to the specific surgical techniques used. There are considerations of soft tissue excess, orbital fat, skin laxity, and specific goals of the patient. The potential risks are discussed such as transient blurness of vision, bleeding and bruising around the eyelids.

The before and after blepharoplasty eyelid surgery result in Tasmania near Devonport or Bellerive is shown 3 weeks from surgery. The swelling and bruising gradually migrates lower as expected. This is part of the recovery phase. At RevAesthetic, there are specific instructions for patient care following eyelid lift surgery.

Whenever a patient seeks eyelid surgery in Tasmania, we understand that this is important, confidential and requires personalised planning.
The potential risks of surgery can be read on www.revaesthetic.com.au/risks-of-surgery

Dr. Nara explains the different surgical manoeuvers that were involved with this patient's periorbital treatment. This is determined at the comprehensive consultation. This patient wanted the excess skin of the upper eyelids to be reduced as well as left brow lift and brow stabilisation. In addition, the convexity of the upper eyelids were to be reduced with orbital fat removal. This was performed conservatively with the right side being more than the left. Other adjuncts of surgery were also performed. The results here were achieved not just with upper blepharoplasty.

This patient is one month following upper Blepharoplasty and brow stabilisation. There were selected amounts of orbital fat removed. The native anatomical eyelid crease heights were repositioned. The potential risks of surgery can be read on www.revaesthetic.com.au/risks-of-surgery

There is a further 30% reduction of swelling and bruising from the example shown at the 9 day mark. This takes time and effort.

At RevAesthetic, we appreciate our patients who take time to ask questions about the different adjuncts involved with upper Blepharoplasty such as brow lifts or brow stabilisation.

During quality consultations for eyelid surgery, we tailor an individualised approach to each patient by understanding their anatomical differences and potential risks of surgery.
