HSD and EDS keep coming up in sessions with our neurodivergent clients 💜

The overlap between joint hypermobility, autism, ADHD and Tourettes is well documented, yet barely spoken about outside specialist circles 🤷‍♀️

If your joints have always felt different and nobody’s connected the dots for you, this might be the start of that!

Part 2 lands soon with what this actually looks like day to day, keep an eye out 👀

When we ask our clients what foods help, crunchy snacks are almost always in their answer 🥜

Crunch gives your jaw and nervous system something concrete to do, which can settle anxious energy or restlessness 💜

Popcorn, carrot sticks, rice cakes, whatever crunches for you counts, and keeping a few options within reach isn’t a small thing 🍿

Save this list for your next grocery run, what’s your favourite crunchy snack? 👇

ARFID is real, and the numbers back it up ⬆️

Most of the people who come to us for support are already burnt out, have been shamed or bullied for their feeding differences, and are carrying real food trauma 😢

Has anyone ever dismissed your feeding differences as “just picky”?

If this is your experience, our team offers ARFID support. Link in bio to book 👍

Medium and high spoon meals don’t have to mean starting from scratch every night👩🏼‍🍳

This is a round-up of nine dinners that lean on convenience products like frozen sides, jarred sauces, and pre-chopped veg, so there’s less decision-making and less standing at the chopping board when your capacity is already stretched 🙌

Save this for the night’s that cooking feels like too much ✨

What are some medium to high spoon meals that you make? 👇

Each grouping has a white text label underneath naming the meal. An orange rounded rectangle at the bottom holds the account handle in white text.]

A client said the phrase ‘ghost poo’ to me recently and honestly it’s the best way I’ve ever heard anyone describe the dream bowel movement 💩

It’s easy, no straining, no drama, gone like it was never there 😲

If that’s not your reality most days, there’s a long list of possible reasons why, from ARFID and sensory stuff to interoception, MCAS, and EDS, and we get into all of it in this post 👆

If you’re straining, wiping forever, or feeling like you can never fully empty, reach out to the WBN team, we would love to help.

Have you heard of the phrase ‘Ghost poo’? 💩
