💡More than 1 in 5 workers reported experiencing a work-related mental health issue in the past year.
The latest Work Shouldn’t Hurt survey by the ACTU provides an important snapshot of health and safety across Australian workplaces — and shows psychological harm remains a significant concern across industries.
There are some encouraging signs: workers experiencing mental health injuries are increasingly taking time off when they need it, and more workers report that employers are giving mental hazards the same importance as physical hazards.
But there is still significant work to do to ensure every worker is protected from psychological harm.
