🇲🇦 Morocco – What an Adventure!
After two incredible weeks exploring Morocco, it’s hard to know where to begin!
From the bustling streets and colourful markets of Marrakesh to the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, where we challenged ourselves to climb Mount Toubkal at over 4,000 metres, this adventure has been filled with unforgettable experiences.
We’ve walked through remote Berber villages, shared mint tea with local families, explored ancient kasbahs, hiked through dramatic rocky gorges, watched the sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert, wandered the winding streets of historic Fez and discovered the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen.
Along the way, we’ve enjoyed countless tagines, mountains of bread, delicious Moroccan food and probably enough mint tea to last a lifetime!
But as always, it’s the people who make these adventures so special. The warmth and hospitality of the Moroccan people, the knowledge and friendship of our wonderful local guides, and the laughter, challenges and friendships shared within our small group made this journey something truly memorable.
There were long days, tired legs, a few challenging climbs and plenty of laughs. We experienced so much more than just the famous sights — we had the opportunity to slow down, connect with local people and gain a genuine appreciation for Morocco’s fascinating culture, history and landscapes.
And that’s what Take Shape Adventures is all about. It’s not just about where we go, but who we meet, what we experience and the friendships we make along the way.
A huge thank you to our wonderful travelling companions and our fantastic Moroccan team for making this such a special adventure.
Morocco, you’ve been amazing! ❤️
