Hi everyone…

Another Christine post… lol… long one 🤣🤣🤣

I know I haven’t posted for a while… but wanted to write about an incredible service I did yesterday. Now mind you, I feel incredibly humbled and honoured at every service
I conduct, but yesterday’s hit me a bit more.

An amazing woman who adored her hubby and family, but adored life and everything it threw at her.

And it sure did throw many challenges over the years.

But she never complained, never let on how sick she was, but continued to live, laugh and make a true contribution to others lives.

She embodied everything I would like to be and I believe I was, but lately I’ve noticed the last year or two, that spark and bubble isn’t there as much.

I’m thinking Covid has a lot to answer for that.. we got caught up in the fear, instability, anger and change and personally I haven’t turned that off as I need to.

We are all still caught up in the anger of this world, tired of being told how to think, feel and act.

I’m going back to the ‘old’ days where we shared gratitude and embodied gratitude,
were Respectful, we had respect, we embraced each other and truly appreciated and loved our life 🤗

I want that back!

So thank you for yesterdays service as it has really made me pull my socks up, straighten my back and be me again. Watch out everyone… silliness, enthusiasm and love for my life to follow🤣🤣🤣🤣

On Wednesday I had the absolute priveledge of conducting a service for a beautiful lady Helen. I have known Helen for many years and, as I do with all services, I really wanted to do her justice and provide the type of service fitting for her and her family.

Helen was feisty, funny, strong, stubborn and really likeable. There was a certain warmth about her that was hard to see beneath the veneer of her humour and presence (of the above mentioned…lol). But when you could see it, she was very sincere and cared about so many.

She was certainly a unique woman who led a relatively simple life but her family will miss her wit, presence and wisdom. I think of you all at this time.

Growing up in country Victoria and NSW, Neville certainly packed a lot in his life. He worked on farms and then on equipment that was used in the Snowy Mountains. His career saw him shift around the states and he eventually settled in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne with his lovely wife and family.

He met the love of his life at a bonfire in their hometown and asked her out on a date to a ball. This was the beginning of their love for the next 70 years plus.

Together this lovely couple had a fully and varied life, where they brought up their family and involved themselves in their lives. Neville loved to play bowls and became president of his club for many years.

They both enjoyed travelling. Once, to Scotland and the UK for 6 weeks and then also around Australia a couple of times, in their combi van.

They enjoyed dancing together and their love for each other shone through. He was also very involved in the community in which he lived.

Farewell and I know your darl is being well looked after by your kids.

Yesterday I conducted another beautiful service with the input of two lovely ladies. Some beautiful songs, reflection, petal ceremony and memorabilia of all the love and life of their lovely Mum.

A Werribee lady who lived here since coming out to Australia in the 1950’s. I feel we may have crossed paths many times due to her working life and social life.

The love in the chapel was evident for this lovely lady who passed away.

Irene had a Scottish heritage and loved to pass on her knowledge and love for her homeland. The stories were meaningful, funny and full of love.

RIP Irene 💕💗💖💞
