Did you know when your birthday comes around and your friends and family get you a cake to share, “but wait don’t forget to make a wish and blow out the candles…. “🤗🥳

Ladies and gentlemen you have engaged In witchcraft, yes “you.”
Blowing out the candles on your birthday cake and making a wish is a part of candle magic.

Harmless yes like most witchcraft and sometimes dreams come true. Magic I’d say well = yes.

This tradition pre dates Wiccan practices goes back to paganism practice but mainly candle magic itself.
Your birthday cake is made just for you so it’s only right you wish on it and close the spell.

Or the tradition of kissing the nearest person when the cake is cut the deepest.
As by cutting you are slicing into energy best to restore it with a 💋.

So next time you blow out your candles (focus on your wish )

And curiosity seekers.

Well Valentine’s Day is coming in the weeks ahead though I don’t hold much stock in this hallmark day, there is a history and I’m talking further back than St Valentine and there actually was more than one. 🤣

I’m talking Ancient Rome pagan version “Lupercalia”.

An ancient festival of fertility and purification. This was celebrated to honour the founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus.

The Maidens would put their name in a urn in the centre of town, where men would select a name completely at random.
(I’m sure there was fixing back then too. 😉)

That pair would spend the whole festival together often resulting in marriage straight away. ♥️
This is why February is often associated with the month of love. ♥️

I don’t celebrate this one too much as I believe love can be shared on any day, time or month.
But doesn’t stop my husband bringing me home roses on that day though I think he does it to be safe haha.🤣🥰🌹

So if your matched or happy in your own company during this upcoming month.
Know that love comes in many forms not just between a couple I see love everywhere,
between friends your family even in the animal world and yes your lover be you same s*x or otherwise. ♥️

So I want to wish you a happy month of Lupercalia upcoming, yes I’m always early lol. 🤣😬😘

I will be focusing on pulling love cards 🃏♥️ for collective reading if your interested or drawn.

Some might even focus on s*xual nature for a lover or a future one. 😈♥️

But remember most of all to love yourself first for it is the most important love of all. ♥️♥️♥️
