We got nominated for an award at the Merri-Bek Community Awards! We were nominated in the Diversity and Inclusion category along with other wonderful community initiatives!

We didn't win (well done to all the very deserving winners) but we're not disappointed because, as cheesy as it sounds, we still feel like winners! We love that so many young people trust us and our service to help them feel more confident around others, and we're proud of what we built, and what we continue to build.

There's always next time!

One thing we all love doing is providing professional supervision for other workers, whether they be other OTs, clinicians working within the mental health sector, or workers who work with groups, or young people, or groups OF young people!

Groups start back up again in the next couple of weeks, and there have been a few spots that have opened up. But be quick, once those spots are snapped up, we are back to putting people on the waitlist!

Term 3 Round Up

If it looks like we've been busy...it's because it HAS been! We have been running 3 groups a week, and our individual OT is currently at capacity.

We have delivered 5 workshops, & travelled lots of kms around Victoria. We have welcomed new team members!

We're rolling into next term by adding another weekly group. We'd tell you more about it...but we're keeping it small purposely, and it is already almost full! We'll tell you all about it soon!

But do contact us if you're keen to join a group...even if we only have a few spaces right now, we might use your interest to plan and build the next group!

And we are planning for 2027, so if your organisation would like training, group reflective practice or supervision...Let's chat!

We LOVE what we do and we're so grateful you are all a part of it! Bring on term 4!

When you're travelling for work, you just don't know what it will bring! Last week in Traralgon, where we were delivering training, we got to meet this beautiful creature 😍 how nice for the team to welcome us tagging along!

We're racking up the kms...and enjoying ourselves while we do it. One more workshop this week, then a break before we do it all over again next term 🙃

This is our first team photo at The Social Confidence Collective with all the six of us! This was immediately after our all-of-staff meeting a couple of weeks ago, which previously was just every meeting that Rachel, Jo and Sonya had 😝

We feel very lucky to be growing our team to include these wonderful humans. They're helping us to deliver even more of the high quality services that The Social Confidence Collective want to be known for.

Don't let our social media silence fool you...we've been busy here behind the scenes!

Check out this lovely pic of Jo and Rachel just as they kicked off another round of workshops that will again be travelling around Victoria this term.

With Jo now on some well-deserved leave with her family, Sonya and Rachel will run the next 3 workshops - keep an eye out for glimpses into their road trips.

And if you're an organisation keen on customised training for your staff, especially in 2027, contact us now - we don't want to admit it, but we're already in planning mode for next year!

GROUPS! We have some good news and not so good news...

The good news? Our groups are thriving, and we are having some fun while supporting young people to feel more confident in relation to their social goals. Check out these pics for some of what we have been up to in the last few weeks.

The bad news? We don't have any open spots at the moment...our groups are full!

Missed out but interested? If you're keen to join in the future, reach out. We can arrange a Roadmap session and if we know there are more young people interested in groups, this interest can shape what we offer in term 4 and beyond.

Activities featuring: Dungeons and Dragons, Tomodachi Life, Rummy-o, cupcake decorating, Boomerang-Fu, Uno no mercy. Not pictured: the chats, the snacks and the vibes.
