Brief Therapy
I match interventions to client needs and aim to support clients to find positive movement and to achieve set goals. I aim to empower, build capacity and increase agency through building a strong relationship, modelling behaviour, being coinsistent and meeting the client on their level. I am currently taking private clients so if you would any further information please contact me to see if we are a match.

Feeling disconnected from your partner after the kids are asleep? You're not alone. Many couples end up on separate devices instead of connecting. Try this: plan a date night, escape to the Peninsula Hot Springs for a few hours, and rediscover your connection. It's time to invest in your relationship again.

Young men in sport.

24/08/2026

There's been a lot of discussion recently about young men, elite sport and culture.

It has me thinking about where the greatest opportunity actually is.

I believe it's our community sporting clubs.

Every week, thousands of young people turn up already ready to learn.

They learn teamwork.
Discipline.
Commitment.
How to win.
How to lose.

What if we also intentionally taught mental fitness?

How to regulate emotions.
How to make good decisions under pressure.
How to stand up for your values.
How to be courageous when it's hard.

Those lessons don't just make better footballers.

They help build better young men.

Community clubs have always been at the heart of Australian communities.

I think they have an even bigger role to play in the future.

Resilience isn't born.
It's built one rep at a time.

It's easy to have strong morals on a Tuesday afternoon. The real challenge? Making tough decisions at 2 AM on a Saturday. These are the moments we train for, building the resilience to make the right call, every time.

Get a black belt in ourselves

23/08/2026

Feeling anxious? Angry? Our bodies react, but we can learn to manage those feelings. Develop a 'black belt in yourself' to build resilience and navigate life's challenges with greater strength. Unlock your inner power.

Who says. Counselling has to happen in a chair

21/08/2026

Imagine being 15, stuck in a sterile waiting room, dreading talking about your feelings. No wonder he said no. That's why at Clubhouse Counselling, we create an environment he'll actually want to be in.

Who says counselling had to happen in a chair?

20/08/2026

Who decided counselling had to happen in a chair? Why not outside on a golf course?
When I was studying counselling, I learnt how to set up the perfect counselling room.
And for many people, that environment is exactly what they need.
But over the years, working with boys and men has taught me that there isn't just one way to have meaningful conversations.
Sometimes it's easier to talk while you're walking.
Or kicking a footy.
Or playing golf.
Or shooting hoops.
Changing the environment can change the conversation.
That's why Clubhouse Counselling does things differently.
We're passionate about helping boys and men navigate life's biggest transitions in environments where they feel comfortable enough to open up.
