Supporting lots of wonderful clients atm who are transitioning off the pill, some who are wanting to conceive, some who are just wanting to understand their cycles and bodies a little better.

And my biggest piece of advice if this is you is to prepare!! Ideally about 3 months ahead, particularly if you’ve tried before and experienced a flare in symptoms (skin, period pain, pms etc.).

There’s SO much we can do to support you prior to coming off to make sure it’s as smooth as possible ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

One of the biggest mistakes I see women that come to me making is underfueling early in the day..

Delaying breaky, skipping breaky, or simply not eating enough of the right things for breaky will typically lead to poor energy, poor focus, and cravings for processed snacks and sweets later in the day.

I know it can seem counterintuitive, particularly if you’re trying to lose weight. But clinically I find setting yourself up for success by consuming a balanced breaky, not only leaves you feeling better, but improves food choices later in the day.

I generally aim for:

A good portion of protein, ideally minimum 30g
A smaller portion of carbs e.g. bread, fruit, potato etc. (i’ll increase this if working out/have some carbs prior)
Lots of diversity of plant foods
Topping it off with some healthy fats

Side note: it should go without saying, but if your period has gone missing - first and foremost we want to rule out a pregnancy before investigating other causes ❤️
