What a fantastic atmosphere as the Freedom Dance Fitness brought their energy, music, and enthusiasm to St Basil's!

From the very first song, the room came alive with smiles, dancing, laughter, and plenty of movement. Residents and staff alike couldn't resist joining in, making it a wonderful morning of fun, connection, and exercise.

🎤 Elvis was in the building! 🕺

Our residents were treated to a fantastic Elvis-themed disco today, with an outstanding performance that had everyone enjoying the morning. From the iconic classics to the unmistakable stage presence, our Elvis entertainer certainly stole the show.

Thank you for sharing your talent and bringing such a wonderful performance to St Basil's. We always appreciate those who give their time to create special moments for our residents. 💙

Meaningful community connections play an important role in enriching the lives of our residents, and this weekend we were delighted to welcome the Pegasus Dance Academy to St Basil’s.

Their vibrant performance brought energy, culture, and a wonderful sense of occasion to the day, creating an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance. Moments like these encourage social connection, stimulate cherished memories, and contribute to the overall wellbeing of our residents.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Pegasus Dance Group for sharing their time and talent with our community. We greatly appreciate their support and look forward to welcoming them again.

A big thankyou to our family member, Emily, for her generous donation of this beautiful bird cage, which is now the new home for our budgies.

Our residents absolutely love watching the budgies in their spacious new home and we are so grateful for Emily’s kindness and support.

Today, we were delighted to welcome Fr-Phillip Papagiannopoulos and members from the Seniors Citizens Club to our home for a Paraklesis service.

Our residents were grateful to share in this special service and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful company. Following the service, everyone gathered together for a lovely lunch, spending time in conversation and fellowship.

A wonderful Sunday afternoon with 🎶

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic performance by the students from Nestoras College, with plenty of singing, clapping and dancing throughout the afternoon.

As we wrap up another wonderful month, we celebrated our June birthdays with an afternoon filled with laughter, friendship, and plenty of smiles. 🎉🎂

Residents came together to enjoy delicious cake, music, and great company as we recognised those celebrating their special day this month. These moments of connection are what make our St Basil's community so special.

⛪️ Yesterday, our residents had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Feast of the Holy Icon of the Theotokos “Axion Estin”

The special celebration honoured Our Lady “Axion Estin”, the Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas, and the Name Day of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Residents enjoyed a beautiful day of prayer, worship, and fellowship, sharing in this important occasion alongside clergy and faithful from across the community.

Following the service, everyone gathered for a lovely lunch and enjoyed spending time together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A memorable and blessed day for all who attended. 🙏
