What matters most to older Australians when it comes to their healthcare? The answer may be simpler than you think
NARI asked older Victorians and their carers what they want from healthcare as they age. The findings were clear: older people want to:
⭐ stay independent
🌟 remain in their own homes for as long as possible, and
⭐ be active partners in decision about their care.
When facing serious illness or end-of-life care, they prioritise dignity, respect, effective pain management and having their wishes understood and followed.
The Giving Day September 9, your donation can help fund research that ensures older Australians have a stronger voice in shaping the healthcare and support services that they rely on.
