All PT’s train their clients and try to get ‘results’
What distinguishes me from the THOUSANDS of other PT's out there?

 All my services (program prescription, group/ 1 on 1 session etc.) I am a strong believer in individuality –It is a fact that every body is idiosyncratic to one another; my programs work because I acknowledge this and tailor my programs accordingly

 I work with clients with

the foundations of TRUST, COMMITMENT and RESPECT to provide the best results possible for Myself and for You

 I am pedantic about your safety (Current Physio Student) – wouldn’t want an injury to cause any setbacks but at the same time I can assist people with present injuries/rehabilitation needs

Weight-loss | HIIT | Strength & Conditioning | Functional Training | Rehabilitation

These are the best herbs we can find.
And no two people walk out with the same combination.

Because in Chinese medicine, the formula is built for the person, not the symptom.
Two people with the same complaint can get completely different scripts.

The herbs work as a team - each one has a role. Some lead, some support, and some steer.

The aim isn't to chase the symptom.
It's to rebalance the pattern underneath it, so the body can find its own harmony again.

Tailored, weighed, and made for one body only: yours.

People think acupuncture is about needles. The needle is maybe five percent of it.

The rest is listening — with questions, with hands, with attention. Listening to where the body is holding, where it's given up, and what pattern it's fallen into.

The needle is just the punctuation mark at the end of all that listening.

Choose a practitioner who listens first. The needle only says what the hands already found.

"𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲."

Asked in clinic every single week. Here's the honest answer — ten minutes, three parts, nothing to buy.
The breath: five minutes, hand on the belly, let it rise, let the exhale lengthen. The exhale is where the nervous system downshifts.
The walk: rhythm, not distance. A steady, even pace settles the system — it's the rhythm doing the work, not the step count.
The points: LI-4, the hand hollow — rub. PC-6, three finger-widths above the wrist crease — press. ST-36, below the knee — tap. Good daily maintenance, and there are more where these came from.
None of this is a treatment plan. It's maintenance — the stuff between services.
Ten minutes. No equipment. Every day beats perfect.
Save this one; you'll want it on the day you need it.
And if you'd rather be taught in person: 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣, Box Hill Neighbourhood House, Thu 27 Aug, 11:30am — booking essential.

this movement is called repulse monkey
and the whole thing happens moving backwards
tai chi is built on an idea our culture struggles with
that yielding can be stronger than pushing
you give ground on purpose, and you stay balanced the entire time
it's not retreat — it's control
the philosophy is two thousand years old and it applies to more than martial arts
your training, your recovery, your week
sometimes the skilful move is the step back

"I can't sit still enough to meditate."
Ben hears it every week — and his answer surprises people: perfect. You're not supposed to.
Some nervous systems settle through movement, not stillness. Tai chi is meditation for people who move.
Slow weight shifts. Breath drops. The mind gets exactly one job.
The body reads that combination as safety — and safety is the switch.
Defend and repair: the nervous system has two gears. Tai chi practises the downshift.
And you're building something on the way through — legs, balance, posture. Gentle isn't the same as weak. That's the Exercise Physiologist in Ben talking.
Fridays with Ben: tai chi built into rehab.
Send this to the friend who can't sit still — better yet, bring them.

(Free intro workshop: Box Hill Neighbourhood House, Thu 27 Aug, 11:30am — booking essential.)

every tai chi form ends with cross hands
not because the practice is over
but because the ending is the practice
tai chi was never about the shapes
it's about doing one thing slowly, on purpose, in a world that can't slow down
the old texts call it yielding — not forcing anything, including yourself
finish, gather, settle
then carry that into the rest of your day
that's the actual skill
send this to someone whose mind is always three steps ahead of their body

in tai chi this posture is called golden rooster stands on one leg
and it looks like a balance exercise
but that's not really what it is
the essence of tai chi is learning to be stable while everything is in motion
one leg holds the ground
the rest of you stays soft
that's the whole philosophy in one shape — strength and softness at the same time, yin and yang in one body
people call tai chi meditation in motion
this is the moment you feel why
Ben teaches this every Friday at the clinic

One Friday a month, the clinic slows down on purpose.

Beds in the shared room, lights low, a handful of people resting at once — Community Acupuncture.

Gabriel assesses each person individually; the needles do their quiet work while the room rests together.

Why shared? Two honest reasons.

Rest is contagious — a room of people slowing down together is its own kind of medicine.

And it keeps the price accessible. Acupuncture at a community price, no shortcuts on care.

It's the gentlest way to meet acupuncture for the first time — stress, sleep, general maintenance.

First Friday of every month. Spots are limited.

Send this to your acupuncture-curious friend.

Tim trained for eight years so he could stop picking a side.

Western medicine reads your hardware — structure, parts, damage. Scans, bloods, mechanics. Brilliant at finding what's broken.

Chinese medicine reads your software — patterns, timing, flow. Sleep, digestion, energy, mood. How the whole program is running.

Most of the frustration we see in clinic comes from one lens being asked to do the other's job:

a scan being asked why you're exhausted,

a herbal formula being asked about a torn ligament.

It's not East versus West. It's two languages describing the same body — some problems are written in one, some in the other.

Trained in both, the argument mostly disappears. You just ask both questions.

Hardware and software. One clinic.

Send this to someone stuck between "the scan was clear" and still not feeling right.
