Dr Umarah is a dedicated and compassionate GP committed to providing holistic, patient-centred care.

As a mother of two, Dr Umarah has a particular interest in women’s health and paediatrics. Supporting a loved one with Autism Spectrum Disorder has also deepened her empathy and strengthened her commitment to helping individuals with additional needs and their families feel understood, supported, and empowered.

Outside of work, she enjoys badminton, experimenting with new recipes and spending quality time with family and friends.

Now Welcoming Dr Lydia Senycia to Watsonia Central Medical Clinic

We are delighted to welcome Dr Lydia Lenycia to our team.
With decades of experience working in suburban Melbourne, rural South Australia and with Indigenous communities, Dr Lydia believes that good medicine starts with listening. She takes the time to understand the whole person and values the story behind every health concern, no matter how small it may seem.

A long-time teacher of medical students through the University of Melbourne, Dr Lydia enjoys caring for patients of all ages and helping people navigate complex health issues.

Special interests include:
Paediatrics
Women's health
Gastrointestinal health
Dermatology

Dr Lydia is also happy to consult in German and Ukrainian.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys bushwalking, alpine hiking, calligraphy, drawing, languages, and spending time with her four children and seven grandchildren.

Welcome Dr Ghada Al-Saraf to Watsonia Central Medical Clinic

We’re very excited to welcome Dr Ghada Al-Saraf to our clinic team.

Dr Ghada graduated in 2011 from the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, and brings over 15 years of combined clinical experience from Australia and overseas. She migrated to Australia with her family in 2017 and has since worked at The Austin Hospital and completed her General Practice training in the lovely towns of Gisborne and Echuca, where she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Dr Ghada has a strong interest in women’s health and chronic disease management, and her additional qualifications include the Sydney Child Health Program and a Certificate of Practical Dermoscopy.

As a mum of two boys, Dr Ghada values family-centred, patient-focused care, and we’re thrilled to have her join our community.
