My daughter helps with a local veggie box scheme.

She has just popped over to Willow Glen.
Our home.
Forever to be called Willow Glen Farm - her words not mine. 🙏🏼

Seems I can grow parsley. 🤣🤣
It’s a w**d at my place.

Enough parsley was harvested to fill 42 veggie boxes!

Forty two boxes! That’s 42 homes receiving my home grown and plastic free produce.

Makes my heart happy and inspires me to grow more food for community projects. Not just parsley!

My eldest son Darcy (aka The Steak Lad) spent months editing his latest You Tube video.

He spent days with Tones Truckin Stories travelling from Melbourne to Perth.

No fuel.
No food.

This is a common theme/message popping up in my newsfeed.

My first thought always goes to our farmers however, Darcy’s video has made me think.

How often do we give thought to the people transporting food around Australia?

Whether it’s trucks or tomatoes the menu for the drivers remain the same.

Is this really the world’s unhealthiest job?

For someone that’s into zero waste I seem to be collecting some serious Thermomix ‘bling’.😲

These are just some of the gifts we received at our recent ThermoFest event in Singapore.

I will use most of these items especially the beautifully personalised Mont Blanc pen which was gifted to me for reaching 1,000 Thermomix sales.

My nephew lives in Chamonix and looks at Mont Blanc every single day…so this is really special for me. His partner’s family owns Maison Fattier | Aux Petits Gourmands & Chalet 4810 📍 Chamonix in the main street…it’s not your everyday kinda cafe. Check out their instagram page and drool. 😁

Brown paper packages tied up with string…honestly one of my favourite things!

Once upon a time I called myself and ‘endurance walker’. Twenty years (ish) ago I needed a sponsor for the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker event. I wanted t-shirts and food for the crew and in return I promised their company lots of publicity.

A friend suggested I meet Julie, the owner of a local cafe right near my gym. After a class I popped in and introduced myself. She seemed interested in my proposal.

That evening I said to my husband, “today I met someone and I know we are going to be friends forever”.

The next day Julie called me and said, “I’d love to meet you again, I have a few business ideas I want to chat with you about”.

I paused before responding and repeated the conversation I had with my husband the night before. I then said that I would prefer to have a real friendship rather than a business friendship so, I politely declined. However, Julie did sponser our team, we were Team Power Pantry!

Since then Julie and I have discussed sooooo many business ideas. Julie did became a Thermomix Consultant for a hot minute - she's the world's best recipe developer! That has been our only professional liaison together. Our partners are mates - daily quiz anyone? Together we have travelled to the most incredible destinations.

Everyone needs a friend like Julie.
Just look what she sent me today!!

Julie made this absolutely stunning jacket for me, recycling a blanket!

Whenever and wherever I wear it, I will be thinking of Julie.

It feels like being wrapped in a big warm hug.

Feeling so blessed and am the luckiest duck EVER!
