Monash University Clinic for Children and Youth We aim to provide assessment, 1:1 intervention and group based services in Frankston. We aim to provide a low cost service to pre-schoolers.

MUCCY is a low cost Occupational Therapy service designed for children presenting with mild to moderate developmental delays from kindergarten - early primary years. MUCCY School Readiness Service is designed for children presenting with mild to moderate developmental delay; who are preparing for school transition. This service will assist preschoolers to develop a range of skills required for sch

ool through the development of:

Fine motor skills
Gross motor skills
Prewriting skills

Your child will be offered an individual appointment at Monash University in Frankston for a school readiness developmental assessment, a summary report and a feedback session. YOUR CHILD IS ELIGIBLE IF…

Your child is attending 4 year old kinder and is due to enter prep next year. You have some concerns about fine motor, gross motor and pre-writing development. Your child is not currently accessing public or private occupational therapy services. Your child is not eligible for other early childhood intervention services. Your child requires services from a paediatric Occupational Therapist

Run by registered paediatric occupational therapists with the support of occupational therapy students; MUCCY uses evidence-based, fun, motivating fine motor activities to target many skills necessary to help children become more independent in the classroom/kindergarten |

Our school readiness service assists preschoolers to develop a range of skills required for school through the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills and prewriting skills. |

We are currently offering low cost individual assessment and group programs for preschoolers, prep, grade 1 and 2's at the Peninsula Campus in Frankston. |

This service can also be of benefit to children who need help in other areas, such as organising themselves and their possessions; starting and finishing tasks;
confidence to have a go; asking for help when needing it; following instructions.
