What a fantastic week it's been celebrating Speech Pathology Week 2026 across National 360! 💙🗣️

Across National 360, our teams embraced this year's theme, Communication Creates Possibility, with plenty of fun, creativity, and learning along the way.
✨ Our Townsville team celebrated with a special gender reveal, where a Client Support Representative used an AAC device to share the exciting news of her baby's gender.
✨ Brisbane North put their communication skills to the test with a game of Pictionary using only AAC to communicate.
✨ The Cheltenham team tackled lip-reading challenges and worked together to build LEGO creations without speaking a word.
✨ Adelaide also took on communication challenges, and we were thrilled that Em from the Adelaide team won a $100 Speech Pathology Australia which was used to create gift bags for all the Speech Pathologists in the team. 🎉

There were so many other fantastic activities across our teams this week, highlighting the many ways communication helps people connect, participate, and thrive.

The Power of Play 🙌 Meet Ameer! Ameer is a fun and happy 8-year-old who is supported at 360 Kids by National 360 clinicians through our Mixed Model Service Approach.

Ameer lives with developmental delays that impact many areas of his daily life, including his communication, mobility, self-care, and participation in everyday activities. With the support of his Lead Clinician and Early Childhood Practitioner, Angela, along with his wider therapy team made up of his Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist, Ameer has been progressing towards his goals! 🌟

Angela shared that Ameer "has been having lots of fun building his core strength, motor skills, and body awareness through active play. We've also been supporting his communication by helping his family use Key Word Sign and respond to his communication during everyday routines. Ameer is making great progress - he's getting stronger during movement activities and is now pointing to visuals and copying Key Word Signs to let others know what he wants and needs."
