Connecting with the beautiful fog this morning. Feeling into its soft gracious and subtle way it blankets everything in such a quiet way.
Reminds me of when I lived in England for a year - up in Yorkshire. Some mornings as I headed to work, the fog was think and low. It was so quiet and yet so enveloping. I loved it. I loved not quite knowing what was going to be round the corner. The fog kept it secret for a while - hidden.
Connecting with simple beautiful things that are around us is so nourishing. We can miss out on noticing them because our minds are busy reacting to everything. Rather than being still.

Imagine not being able to access education unless by risking your life and the life of other women.
Imagine attending a school in secret.
Imagine - even if you manage to continue some education, but you have no clue as to how you may (if indeed ever), get to utilize that education.
Imagine still being able to have hope.
This young woman quoted in my post also said:
“My only aim is to get education and [to] not accept defeat.”

Take this courage, this strength of determination with you as you all go about your week, the rest of this month. The remainder of 2022 and beyond…

With so much negative input around us at present. So much fear that drives media.
I decided to tune into this space each morning for five days. To inspire me. To put me out of my comfort zone. I know I can help impact many people. My message is powerful. My experience of life potent. I need someone to kick me off the ledge I’ve been clinging to. To believe in me.
I am stepping into a different place today. I am grabbing my future and being seen for who I am and all that I have to offer.
