Nature has always been one of Spirit’s most beautiful ways of reaching us.

A dragonfly can appear when you’re missing someone. A butterfly may gently cross your path just when you need reassurance. Birds, feathers, ladybirds. Spirit will use the wonders of nature to remind us they are only ever a thought away.

That’s why I love these words-

“Whisper ‘I love you’ to a dragonfly, and it will fly to Heaven and deliver your message.”

I believe our loved ones hear every word we speak from the heart. Sometimes Spirit simply sends a little messenger to let us know the message has been received

Life can change in a heartbeat…. Literally !!!

One phone call. One diagnosis. One unexpected moment can alter the course of our lives forever.

Experiences like these remind us not to take today for granted. Hold your loved ones a little closer, choose kindness whenever you can, and be grateful for the ordinary moments they often become the ones we treasure most.

None of us knows what tomorrow holds, but we do have today.

Make it count.

There are people who ask, “How are you?” because it’s the polite thing to say.

And then there are the rare souls who ask because they’re truly prepared to hear the answer.

I’ve been thinking a lot about our safe people lately those precious people who don’t try to fix us, don’t rush us, don’t judge us. They simply hold space. They witness our pain, allow our vulnerability, and remind us that it’s okay not to be okay.

A few weeks ago, my husband Glenn went into cardiac arrest and flatlined three times. By the grace of Spirit, the incredible paramedics, medical teams and surgeons, he survived, underwent open-heart surgery, and is now home recovering. I’m so grateful beyond words.

Since then, so many people have kindly asked, “How’s Glenn?”

My answer is usually, “He’s doing well. It’s a long road, but we’re getting there.”

It’s an easy answer. A safe answer.

But the other day, while doing the grocery shopping, I unexpectedly ran into my dear friend Janice.

Many of you know I’ve been having massages with Janice for years in her beautiful treatment room in Healesville. Her treatments are so much more than a massage. She intuitively selects essential oils that seem to be exactly what I need every single time, and I’ve happily recommended her to many people over the years.

She looked at me with those kind, gentle eyes and simply asked, “Are you okay?”

That was all it took.

The floodgates opened. Right there in the middle of the shopping centre, I could barely hold myself together.
There was no judgement. No awkwardness. No need to explain or apologise.

Just a calm, nurturing presence that made me feel completely safe.
Sometimes that’s the greatest gift we can offer another person, not advice, not answers, but our presence.

Janice, thank you for being one of the very few people I feel safe enough to completely surrender with. Thank you for holding space for me when I didn’t even realise how much I needed it. Essence

You are one of my Earth Angels, and I will never forget your kindness.

To everyone reading this, cherish your safe people… and whenever you can, be that safe person for someone else.

You may never fully realise how much your quiet presence can help carry another soul through one of life’s most difficult moments.

Hello everyone. Just a little update on my husband, Glenn.

He came home from hospital yesterday, and while he’s still in quite a bit of pain (which is to be expected), he’s resting, taking all his medications, moving very slowly… and sleeping in short bursts. It’s going to be a journey, but we’re so grateful to finally have him home.

Please keep the healing thoughts and prayers coming. Every single one means so much to us.

I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible people who cared for Glenn. From the amazing ambulance crew who responded when Glenn flatlined, to the wonderful nurses at Box Hill and St Vincent’s Hospitals, the surgeons, doctors, carers, cleaners and even the lovely people who prepared and served his meals… thank you. Your kindness, compassion and dedication touched our hearts in ways I can’t adequately put into words. It was a truly humbling experience, and our family will never forget it.

Now begins a new chapter one of healing, recovery and embracing a healthier new beginning for Glenn.

For me, it’s been a steep learning curve managing all the medications and helping him through each day, but I’m getting there. Thankfully, I haven’t been doing it alone. My two beautiful sons have been by our side every step of the way, and I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for their love, strength and support.
My champions ❤️

To everyone who has sent prayers, messages, phone calls, gifts, meals, love and support… thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have carried us through one of the most challenging times of our lives, and we are forever grateful.

Oh and it seems I’ve earned myself a brand new title…

“I’m not gone… just gone ahead.”

Those we love never truly leave us. Although we can no longer see them with our physical eyes, their love continues to surround us. They walk beside us through our joys and our sorrows, gently encouraging us, comforting us, and reminding us that we are never alone.

Death changes the way we experience their presence, but it can never break the bond of love. The connection of the soul lives on beyond this earthly life.

Rather than seeing death as the end, I choose to see it as a journey ahead, a journey that one day will lead to the most beautiful reunion when we too return “Home”

Until that day, may you find comfort in the signs, the memories, and the quiet moments when you feel them close because love never dies.

Good morning, beautiful friends.
I wanted to share a little update on my husband, Glenn.
His quadruple bypass surgery went well, and he is now resting in ICU. We are feeling incredibly grateful that the surgery was successful and that he is doing well.
The past few days have reminded me just how precious life is and how deeply we are carried by the love, kindness and prayers of those around us. Your beautiful messages, thoughtful words and heartfelt prayers have wrapped our family in so much comfort, and I truly don’t have the words to thank you enough.

I truly believe there is great strength in collective prayer, and I would be so grateful if you could continue to keep Glenn in your thoughts as he begins the next stage of his journey. Surgery is only the first step, now comes the healing, the patience and the gradual return to strength.

From my family to yours, thank you for standing beside us. Your kindness has meant more than you’ll ever know.

Wishing you all a peaceful and beautiful day.

With love and gratitude,
Sharon ❤️🙏❤️

Life can present us with a wake up call when we realise that protecting our peace is just as important as sharing our kindness.

Not everyone who enters our life is meant to stay. Some people inspire us to grow, while others teach us the importance of healthy boundaries. Every conversation, every relationship and every interaction is an exchange of energy. Over time, you begin to notice who leaves you feeling lighter and who leaves you carrying a weight that was never yours.

Spirit has taught me that our energy is sacred. We are not here to constantly pour from an empty cup or to sacrifice our own wellbeing to keep everyone else comfortable.

It’s okay to step back from people who continually drain you. It’s okay to choose peace over conflict, and distance over dysfunction. That doesn’t mean you’ve stopped caring. It simply means you’ve started caring for yourself too.

Surround yourself with those who encourage you, celebrate your successes, and bring out the very best in you. The right people won’t dim your light, they’ll help it shine even brighter.

Protect your energy. Honour your intuition. Your soul already knows who belongs in your circle.

The people who are meant for you will never ask you to become less of yourself to make them feel more comfortable. Protect your peace. Protect your energy.
You are so worth it.

There’s something special about Sundays.
A gentle invitation to slow down, take a deep breath, and reconnect with what truly matters. Whether your day is filled with family, quiet reflection, or simply a moment of peace with a warm cuppa, may it nourish your heart and restore your spirit.
Wishing you all a beautiful, peaceful Sunday.

When you’re walking through a challenging season, you wonder if anyone truly sees what you’re carrying.

Then, without warning, kindness arrives.

Today I received the most beautiful surprise from one of my lovely clients, Paula. The stunning arrangement of colourful flowers was such a thoughtful gift, and I truly can’t thank you enough. Your kindness touched not only my heart but my family’s as well.

Over the past week, I’ve been reminded that even when we feel unseen, there are beautiful souls quietly surrounding us with love. The messages, phone calls, Facebook comments, prayers and words of encouragement have meant more than I could ever put into words. My family and I are deeply grateful for every single one of them.

A very special thank you also to my dear friend Patti, an extraordinary chef, who quietly left sticky date puddings on my doorstep. There really is something so comforting about homemade food made with love. You certainly know the way to my heart! I love you, my dear friend. Thank you.

As many of you may or may not know, the coming week will bring another challenge for our family as my husband undergoes open-heart surgery. We would be so grateful if you could continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Your love, kindness and well wishes give us strength, and we will carry every one of them with us.

To everyone who has reached out… thank you for reminding me that kindness is one of life’s greatest healers. We never truly know what someone is carrying, and the smallest act of love can make the biggest difference.

With heartfelt gratitude
Sharon ❤️🙏❤️

Hope isn’t pretending everything is okay.
Hope is choosing to believe that even in the middle of life’s hardest moments, this isn’t the end of your story.

Your loved ones in Spirit know when your heart is heavy. They often draw close, offering quiet comfort and gentle reminders that you’re never walking this journey alone.

Hold onto hope. One small step, one deep breath, one day at a time.
