A stronger core helps your pelvic girdle and low back and supports your baby.

Stronger scapular muscles help your posture especially during breastfeeding.

Adopting the prone position in the third trimester helps your baby position optimally for passage through the birth canal

And zero impact exercises are safe and comfortable taking the weight and strain off your body - so good

Aquamums holds a prenatal aqua class on Saturdays at 2.30pm.
Q: Who can come?
A: All pregnant women in second and third trimesters!
All postnatal women after 5 weeks in first postnatal year.
You don’t have to be able to swim.
All fitness levels are cared for.
If you have back pain, pelvic girdle pain, pelvic floor issues, swelling in the limbs or other musculoskeletal problems the water is wonderful.

Working with the water dumbells adds resistance for some exercises and flotation for others. They add so much to a prenatal workout. Come along and try it for yourself!

Aquamums classes are on in Ringwood on Thursday nights and St Kilda on Saturday afternoons. It’s the ideal exercise for pregnancy.
