Congratulations to Alex on achieving his employment goal! 🎉

After finishing Year 12, Alex was determined to find work close to home. With the support of his Employment Mentor, Billi, and a lot of persistence, he successfully secured a casual role with Woolworths. 👏

In less than four weeks, Alex's dedication, strong work ethic and commitment were recognised, earning him a permanent part-time position! 🌟

Working in the Fruit & Veg department, Alex's role involves unloading deliveries, manual handling of fresh produce, assisting customers and keeping stock organised. Through his employment journey, he has developed valuable skills in prioritising tasks, organisation, responsibility and teamwork.
We're incredibly proud of everything Alex has achieved and can't wait to see what the future holds for him! 💚🍎🥦

✨ What a fantastic weekend at the Adelaide DAL Expo

Our South Australia State Manager, Carolyn, together with Employment Mentors Bili, Andrew, and Mia, had the pleasure of meeting so many individuals, families, carers, and service providers across the two-day event at the Wayville Showgrounds.

Throughout the expo, the team enjoyed having meaningful conversations about customised employment and sharing how 4gr supports people with disability to build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their employment goals through personalised employment supports.

One of the standout moments of the weekend was receiving a beautiful handmade card from a young visitor. It was a thoughtful gesture that truly made our day and reminds us why creating opportunities and supporting people into meaningful employment is so important. 🌟💙

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, shared their stories, and took the time to learn more about our services. We loved making new connections and look forward to supporting more people on their employment journey.

⛰️✨ Making connections and creating opportunities! 🤝

Our Relationship Officer, Alex, attended the Care Melton Expo at Cobblebank Stadium and had a fantastic day connecting with attendees, sharing conversations, and building valuable relationships. 💬🌟

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout and so much enthusiasm for exploring career pathways and employment opportunities. We look forward to building on these connections and continuing to create opportunities for meaningful employment! 💼💙

😄 Ever been told to maintain eye contact in an interview and taken it a little too seriously?

Eye contact is a great way to show you're engaged and confident, but it doesn't mean staring the interviewer down! 👀

A good rule of thumb is to maintain eye contact while listening and speaking, then naturally glance away from time to time. The goal is to create a genuine connection, not win a staring competition. 🤝✨
