What causes Peyronie’s disease?

The exact cause isn’t fully known, but it’s often linked to genetics and repeated minor injuries. Over time, these small injuries may cause scar tissue to form. Because scar tissue isn’t as flexible as normal tissue, it can create changes in shape or curvature.
While it can feel difficult to talk about, Peyronie’s disease is a recognised medical condition and help is available.

If you’re concerned about changes, book a consultation with Dr Chris Love for discreet assessment and advice.
