Our participants and staff enjoyed trying their hand at a radio-controlled model sailboat, learning how to steer, control, and guide it across the water.

Activities like this bring together curiosity, coordination, focus, and teamwork in a relaxed outdoor setting - with plenty of smiles when the boat finally goes exactly where you want it to! 😂

At A Better Life Home Care Services, we love creating opportunities for participants to explore new interests, try something different, and enjoy meaningful experiences in the community.

The holidays are here, and we’ve planned plenty to keep things exciting! 💙

From 21 September to 2 October 2026, A Better Life Home Care Services is running a fun-filled Holiday Program with a mix of community outings, recreational activities and hands-on experiences for participants.

The program includes visits to Melbourne Museum, movie days, a BBQ at the Botanical Garden, Bounce, arcade games, Animal Land Children’s Farm, swimming, cooking at the facility, and games and fun at Mayfield Park. 🎬🏊‍♂️🎮🌿

Each day is designed to give participants opportunities to get out into the community, try something different, build confidence, practise everyday skills and, most importantly, enjoy the school holidays with support around them.

Places may be limited, so early registration is recommended.
