This National Sorry Day, and as Reconciliation Week approaches, we acknowledge the historical and systemic factors that continue to impact the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal Communities.

At the Hamilton Centre, we believe in integrated approaches that ensure culturally safe and respectful care – helping First Nations Peoples feel seen, heard and supported.

πŸ”· Our latest online module is designed to equip healthcare workers with the knowledge and tools to provide culturally safe care to Aboriginal Peoples with co-occurring mental health and AOD conditions.

Developed in collaboration with Clarisse Slater, a Yorta Yorta, Kamilaroi and Wiradjuri professional with over 20 years of experience in the Aboriginal service sector, the module is available for free on our website.
