Potential V Reality, it’s the point most women hit where they realise they are abandoning themselves to keep a relationship going.

Sometimes we get so used to uncertainty, mixed signals and wondering where we stand, that the absence of all that can feel really uneventful.

There’s less to analyse, less to check and less to anticipate.

Before deciding the spark isn’t there, maybe think about what you’re comparing it to. Because claim doesn’t always mean lack of chemistry.

Are you feeling this???

Right now this moment is your reality.

Our mind has a strange way of taking us out of the part of life we’re actually living. We replay what has already ended, rush ahead to what might happen next, or wish we could skip the uncomfortable bit in the middle.

But everything has a beginning, a middle and an end.

The problem is, we can spend so much time thinking about the beginning or worrying about the ending that we miss the middle.

And the middle is where most of our life is actually happening.

Try to be where your feet are. This part counts too.

Friendships don’t always end with a huge falling out. Sometimes they come apart after years of little things. Unsolicited advice, one sided effort, competition, resentment, or realising the friendship only worked when you stayed the same.

People change, lives change. Healthy friendships need enough room for both.
