I come here because it’s good for my sense of belonging, it’s a way to have a social connection and it helps my emotional well being.

It’s just the little things

Said the beautiful patient yesterday 💕

Big heart melts for that feedback and it’s true we work incredibly hard on the details. Sometimes they are noticed, sometimes completely missed but the feeling they create always gives people are sense ease.

Whatever you are entering the clinic with your nervous system is already holding it, evaluating input and threat well before you are sometimes feeling any awareness. Our goal is to assist in that nervous system regulation so you can start your journey with us from a place of calm.

Grateful is such a cliche word but it’s hard to quite place the right words to describe so many emotions when you run a business.

Last night we had a little celebration, our beautiful team and 50 special guests close to our hearts to show our gratitude and simply say thank you.

We have spent 15 years on Hampton Street, 10 years in our current building and 6 months in our new expanded edition. We work, run, trip, dust off, re start, shuffle to the left, learn, unlearn, repeat, 4 steps forward- possibly 20 back, sprint, hurdle (sounds like exaggeration but we know biz owners feel this to their core) and whilst you’re white knuckling it there is never time to actually stop and reflect back. Last night was the greatest story teller of all those adventures, ones I even had forgotten about. Thank you to everyone for sharing that space with us, it was so special and we truly truly are grateful.

In honour of this we will be continuing the celebration, reflection and story telling of our amazing team, space and community over the next few months.

To Hampton and beyond, thank you for allowing us into your community, your lives and allowing us to care you and your loved ones. It’s our absolute honour.

Our Community Meditation Circle has officially started and hosted by the divine Debbie Nervous System Support Melbourne

Monday felt like a hard day to slow down. But, if anything, it was probably the day we needed it most.

Together, we paused, breathed, and gently settled into the week. It was amazing how quickly that busy Monday mind began to quiet.

Even better, there was no need to rush off afterwards. We stayed a little longer, chatting quietly over a warm cup of tea, taking time to write down any thoughts that came up during the meditation, and reflecting as we explored a selection of affirmation and reflection cards together.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes the best way to begin the week isn’t by doing more, but by slowing down first. We can’t wait for the next one, we will pop a booking link up for easy bookings.

This week is National Pain Week. We are so glad we found that there is a cause highlighting what many people experience, 3.6 million Australians in fact.

Not all pain is visible.

Many people live with ongoing pain that can’t be seen from the outside yet it affects nearly every part of their day. It can change how you move, how you sleep, how you work, and how much energy you have to give.

Over time, this kind of pain doesn’t just stay physical.

It can become mentally exhausting constantly managing symptoms, adjusting plans, and trying to keep up with daily life while your body feels like it’s working against you.

One of the hardest parts is that it often goes unseen. People can look “fine” while dealing with something that is persistent and wearing.

Chronic pain is complex. It’s influenced by the body, the nervous system, and everything that builds around it over time.

But being invisible doesn’t mean it isn’t real and it doesn’t mean it can’t be supported.

National Pain Week is about recognising the experience of those living with ongoing pain, improving understanding, and creating space for better support.

We have spent 6 months this year building and now ready to welcome exceptional practitioners to our team. We expanded to accommodate more health professionals within our beautiful multidisciplinary healthcare clinic in the heart of Hampton.

We’re currently looking to add:
• Integrative GP
• Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
• Occupational Therapist
• Speech Pathologist
• We are also open to other complementary healthcare modalities that align with our values.

Our clinic has been thoughtfully designed with both the patient experience and practitioner workflow in mind, creating an environment that is calm, welcoming and enjoyable to work in every day.

Join an established team committed to creating an exceptional healthcare experience where patients feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.

Our consulting rooms are ideally suited to practitioners with an established client base or those looking for a supportive environment to thoughtfully grow their practice alongside experienced clinicians.

Team time 💕

We have made a real conscious effort this year to bring a more regular social calendar for our team. If you work in healthcare or appointment based roles you know only to well that sometimes you just don’t have the opportunity to connect with colleagues.

We know weird things like the sound of our teams footsteps, whose writing is in the comms books, who’s car stole your car park 🙊 but miss the time to have a proper hello and share a conversation that isn’t patient based.

This year we kicked off a Pilates class with .wellness.hampton in March, enjoyed a dinner in May and today was spoilt with .tcm taking us through a nourishing Qi Gong class followed by the most beautiful sound bath hosted by Bella. We all brought a little dish from home and enjoyed a floor party of food and tea.

So lovely to be able to charge the battery this time of year and feel fresh for another week ahead. As always, forever privileged to share this time with those who fill our beautiful clinic.

We're a little late to the party this week but it's National Diabetes Week (12th-18th July) 💙

At Contagious Enthusiasm we know that living with diabetes is about far more than managing a condition; it’s a daily experience that most people never fully see or understand.

That’s why this National Diabetes Week, we’re proud to stand behind Diabetes Australia’s Living Out Loud campaign.

This year, the volume is being turned up for 2 million Australians living with diabetes, along with their carers, researchers, health professionals, and clinicians, amplifying what they wish the world knew.

Because when more people understand, more people act.
