🔬 Major SNAP trial results published in The New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet.

We’re proud to share new findings from the SNAP trial — one of the largest studies of antibiotic treatment for Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections.
✅ 1,600+ participants across 90+ hospitals in 8 countries
✅ Cefazolin (MSSA) and penicillin (PSSA) were as effective as, and likely superior to, (flu)cloxacillin
✅ Compared with (flu)cloxacillin, cefazolin and penicillin were associated with a lower risk of kidney injury

💡 Together, these findings provide important evidence to support safer, more effective, and evidence-based treatment decisions for patients with serious bloodstream infections.
