State and Federal Budgets set direction for healthcare reform.

In early May, Victorian Treasurer Jaclyn Symes MP handed down the 2026-27 Victorian State Budget. One week later, Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers delivered the 2026-27 Federal Budget.

In a tight fiscal environment, the VHA is pleased to see both Budgets go some way to addressing the priorities identified by VHA members and outlined in our budget submissions and Victorian Health Investment Strategy.
