The last couple of years, I have been stripped bare.
I lost everything that ever meant anything to me.
The funny thing is, I like myself so much better in the aftermath.
Grief and trauma changes you at the core.
All I've ever known is to play small.
Like most of us, I was conditioned to abandon myself to please those around me—but when you lose so much, you start to become unhinged.
My business as it is, is coming to a close. Sol Somatic Therapy.
I worked so hard to build my practice, my reputation, to gain mainstream credibility.
I chose to hide my gifts—(clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance, clairsentience, clairempathy), my ability to communicate with the dead, and work with hidden energy—I hid these aspects to potentially reach more people, and to be taken more seriously.
I didn't realise how exhausting it was to constantly alter myself. Holding one foot in the physical and the other in the spiritual realm takes a lot of energy. It's taken years to really adapt and master the ability to hold both simultaneously.
I am so good at what I do, it no longer makes sense to hide, to pretend, to shrink myself.
I am choosing to walk away from a thriving practice.
It feels profoundly liberating.
My focus is now geared towards teaching the healers, the spiritual teachers, and the intuitive practitioners how to work and heal through a somatic approach.
So many healers are gifted due to surviving trauma.
Often these gifts are born from learning how to survive through a place of disconnect.
But when we are not safe in our own skin, we cannot offer clients safety in theirs.
Safety is the crucial foundation for any true and lasting healing. You can have all the gifts, but if you are not working from a place of wholeness and safety, most things wont align.
Like attracts like.
I'm really excited about this new direction and I can not wait to show up unapologetically as myself, knowing that in doing so, I am helping those around me to truly honour themselves.
Sacred Somatic Healing coming soon ❤️
