Rib remodelling is a procedure that is minimally invasive (smaller incisions) and allows narrowing of the lower ribs to give a more cinched waistline and a ‘corseted’ appearance to the recipient.

The risks associated with this procedure include lung puncture and pneumothorax.

It is a relatively new procedure and, as with all new procedures, tread carefully.
