📢 Female Support Worker Contractor Wanted – Chelsea, VIC 📢
Helix Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced female support worker to join our team as an independent contractor and support an NDIS participant in the Chelsea area.
📍 Location: Chelsea, VIC
📅 Immediate Start Available
🕒 Current Shifts:
- Monday: 10:30am – 3:30pm
- Tuesday: 10:30am – 3:30pm
- Friday: 10:30am – 3:30pm
Additional shifts of similar hours may become available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
• Meal preparation and cooking home-style meals.
• Following recipes and meal plans.
• Light domestic assistance and household tasks.
• Community access and transport (if required).
• Providing respectful, person-centred support.
• Building a genuine, trusting relationship with the participant.
# # # We are looking for someone who:
✅ Female support worker.
✅ Ideally middle-aged with a mature, caring and friendly nature.
✅ Confident with cooking and meal preparation.
✅ Able to follow instructions and routines.
✅ Experience supporting people with disability preferred.
✅ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
✅ Current First Aid & CPR.
✅ Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
✅ Current ABN and appropriate insurance.
A support worker with an understanding of European-style cooking or a similar cultural background would be highly regarded, in line with the participant's preferences.
