Here's your opportunity to join us on Wednesday 2nd September for a day created entirely with carers in mind. Think of it as your moment to step out of your carer responsibilities and into something uplifting, joyful and full of heart - a day that hums with the same spirit as ‘Sweet Caroline’ and all the songs that make you want to smile and sing along!

Begin your morning with a lovely High Tea at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, then settle into your seat at the iconic Princess Theatre for a musical journey through Neil Diamond’s greatest hits. With return transport included, all you need to do is relax, enjoy, and let the rhythm of the day carry you.

Location: Our event will depart from our TTHA/Accent Sunroom Office located at 51 Elizabeth Street, Bayswater

Important Information

* This FREE event is open to those who provide ongoing support to a partner, family member or friend living in the community (the person you care for cannot live in residential aged care).
* Attendees must be aged 18 years or over
* Attendees must be able to walk between venues and navigate stairs in low lighting at the theatre
* As this is a government-funded event, Carer and care recipient details are required
* Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. You must receive a confirmation email to advise if your spot is secured

A wonderful day out at Queen Victoria Market 🌿

Our Social Support Group enjoyed a colourful day exploring the market — browsing the stalls, admiring beautiful flowers and discovering the calming sounds of singing bowls along the way.

We finished the outing by sharing a delicious multicultural lunch, with curries on the menu and plenty of conversation, laughter and connection around the table.

Days like this are all about enjoying new experiences, spending time together and staying connected with the community. 💚

🎶 Good music. Great company. Plenty of dancing.

Our Social Support Group enjoyed a wonderful outing to Morning Melodies at RSL Dandenong, with live entertainment, lots of laughs and even a few moves on the dance floor.

After the show, everyone enjoyed lunch and time together a lovely way to spend the day connecting, sharing conversation and simply enjoying each other’s company.

These are the moments that make community outings so special. 💚

Art, culture and connection in the heart of Melbourne 🎨

Our Social Support Group enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the Ian Potter Centre NVG, where the striking pottery and artworks inspired plenty of conversation.

The group then wandered through Hosier Lane and AC/DC Lane, taking in Melbourne’s colourful street art before finishing the day with lunch at the Swiss Club.

A lovely day of shared experiences, good company.

A day filled with discovery, conversation and connection 💚

Connection looks different for everyone and sometimes it starts with a day out!

Our recent Social Support Group enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the beautiful Cranbourne Gardens before exploring the colourful displays at the World of Crystals, and sharing lunch together.

From peaceful walks through stunning Australia landscapes to discovering fascinating crystals and mineral, there was something for everyone to enjoy. From trying something new to catching up with friends, these outings are all about enjoying meaningful moments, building connections and having fun together.

Our Social Support Group recently visited spectacular Cartier Exhibition at NGV a day filled with beautiful craft manshift, interesting conversation and plenty of shared laughter.
