💚Behind every act of care is someone who deserves to be seen.
This National Carers Week (11–17 October), we're recognising the people behind the everyday moments of care, embracing this year's theme, “Care for a carer: Making carers visible.”
It's the daughter helping her mum with appointments. The husband supporting his wife. The friend dropping by with groceries or the neighbour checking in to make sure everything is okay.
For many, caring for someone is simply part of everyday life. They don't necessarily see themselves as carers. They're just doing what they can for someone they love.
But caring for someone else can also mean putting your own needs aside.
At Accent Home Care, we understand the important role family members, friends and carers play in helping people continue living at home, surrounded by the people and things they love.
We also know how important it is for carers to feel recognised, supported and connected.
💚 This National Carers Week, let's make carers visible.
