Sometimes we can contribute to the suffering of ourselves and others, whether consciously or unconsciously.

This declaration is an invitation to acknowledge our actions, take responsibility for what is ours, release what is not, and transform the energy of those experiences into wisdom, compassion and love ❤️‍🔥

I AM NOT THE TENSION ITSELF: Meditation Journal Entry

During meditation, I tuned into the muscles in my face when I realised they were tense. I sensed that who I am is that which is witnessing the tension; I am not the tension itself.

I wondered: what is the thing creating tension?

What animates my body in such a way that it can contort the muscles in my face?

Is it life force? Consciousness? Soul?

Are all of these the same thing?

When I am dead, the thing that animates my body will not be present to contort the muscles in my face.

Where does it go?

Does it go to another face in another time?

Does it go back to where it came from?

Where did it come from?

Perhaps it doesn’t originate from anywhere because it is omnipresent?

But how can it be omnipresent once the time comes to remove itself from this body and end the dance of this temporary, miraculous life?

From solidity to fluidity
and back again.
Steadily, without haste
sweet, fragile footsteps
leave no trace.

AN ENDLESS ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND: Meditation Journal Entry

The closer attention I pay to the details of life in the present moment, the more expansive my perception of life becomes.

It shifts from a static container that seemingly enables me to achieve, execute, and get from here to there, to an endless adventure playground laced with unexpected treasure regardless of where I am or where I look.

I HAVE TANGLED MYSELF ENOUGH: Meditation Journal Entry

My mind is now in service to my heart.

The ego was strong and I had to dismantle it one defence mechanism at a time.

My mind is now in service to my heart.

The whys and hows are not necessarily known intellectually.

The mind makes a mess of things, conjures stories and traps, creating labyrinths to get tangled in.

I have tangled myself enough!

No more relying on the mind.

My heart is in charge now.
