Today’s mini-reading seems to be following on from yesterday, extolling the virtues of patience and of waiting. The message is clear, that all things come with the fullness of time, and if we can just wait, slow down, be patient; and all measure of bounty will be rewarded. While being impatient will surely precipitate disaster
The HORAE: In Greek Mythology they were meteorological deities who presided over nature and changing of the Seasons. In this they literally represent the aspect of time. Time can sometimes force us to stand still and wait for events to catch up; or it can propel us forward, not letting us pause for breath.
The SUN: Here we see the rewards that will abound should we listen to the HORAE and be patient. The Sun, representing Vitality and abundance. A card that delivers joy, happiness, good fortune; a fulfilment of wishes and desires.
EHWAZ: Today’s rune is all about harnessing energy and adjustment. It represents the very spirit of change and reminds us that if we want to see real change in our lives, we must first make those changes manifest within ourselves. We must take responsibility for our desires, and study our motivations for change and if we are honest with our intent then positive changes will surely occur.
